Sunday Morning Roll Call April 24, 2005

Join our weekly (Sunday) weigh in.

Weighin in and this time I actually looked at the scale

Postby Heidi » April 24th, 2005, 7:45 am

Good Morning Everyone! Before I weighed in I read all the postings for encouragement. I haven't written in awhile in hopes that the next time I sent anything I would actually belong to a pounder club! So proud of all the accomplishments of everyone and once again, thanks to all who share their journey and encouragement. I am proud to announce after 19 days, I have lost 18 pounds, and most importantly I feel Great! I wish I knew how to use the icons and I'd put a big old smiley face! My husband isn't doing so hot, he's cheating BIG time. He's on a golf trip this weekend and called to tell me that he doesn't think tequila and MF shakes go well together-hmm, ya think! Going to the dr. on Tues. for my 3rd week check-up-by then I'm hoping to belong to the 20 pounder club, instead of the quarter pounder club where I've held status for so long. Keep up the great work everyone. Heidi

Congratulations, everyone. Hanging in there through the slow weeks is tough, and can be very discouraging. I was just looking back over my weight chart, and my weekly losses are all over the place. Week 3 was bad, Christi----you were right about that! That week I was down 0.8, but then week 4 I was down 5.8.

I've had a very slow two weeks until yesterday. Last week I was down about a half pound. The scale really hadn't moved much since Apr. 10, except for up! (I know some of you have had 3 weeks of no loss...I really admire you for sticking with it!!) Then yesterday and today it moved down, for a loss this week of 3.8, bringing my 12 week total to 46#.

Happy Sunday everyone. Looks like everyone is doing great, just losing and losing.

Heidi, well darn I thought you would hit the 20# club this week for sure. Maybe it was the tea you had Friday night that held you back ;) oh, and I am going to have to come over there and theach you how to use the icons, silly girl.

Donna, 4.6 pounds, what a great week you have had!!

Congrats to all.........small or big, a loser is a loser is a loser. Never thought it would feel so good to be a loser.

It was a bit of a slow week for me, I think I've had several days where I was a meal short. Last week was pretty difficult, massive projects for school and my mind was just everywehre. OH, and TOM is around the corner, so that's not helping either. Only 1 pound this week, but ya know, I'll take it! that's another pound I don't haev to worry about next week

Have a great week everyone. I hope I can actually check the forum out a bit during the week this week, but it's hard telling. I would say I'll be so glad when this semester is over, except that it's straight to summer school with me, so it's not going to be such a wonderful thing :x Oh well, at least I know I'll be all nice and skinny when I do graduate :)

Take care everyone...............happy trails.

Hey Donna-Thanks for the quote, it's been on my refrigerator since the first time you responded to a reply, "There is no challenge too great that God will not give me the strength to endure..all I need to do is ask Him." YOU ARE AWESOME!!! Heidi

ICON-LESS

Postby Heidi » April 24th, 2005, 8:21 am

Thanks Vicki- I do need help with the icons, I am not too computer savvy! Or is it icon-literate? Can anyone help me with icons? Beware once I start using them, I may not stop!! What are you studying in school? No tea for me Friday night, just a delicious strawberry shake that I pretended was a Margarita! Heidi

Morning all! Hey Angelia, when you start a Roll Call thread, don't forget to put the date in the title so we can find it easier later on. I don't know about anybody else, but when I was first on this board I went through all of the roll call threads week by week for awhile, and having the date on it really helps. Maybe Unca Tim can add the date to the title on this thread.

Hang in there, Principessa. My week four AND week five were just half a pound losses each, and it was hard to hold on through that. Week six picked right back up, though, with 3.5, followed by 4.0, followed by 3.5, so it DOES happen.

Well here I am back at Roll Call. I am pleased to announce that :: drum roll :: I AM OFFICIALLY IN THE 50 POUND CLUB!! The scale this morning says 219.0, which is 2.5 pounds down from the last time I reported two Sundays ago (just before leaving for Hawaii). That makes 50.5 pounds lost since January 3!!!!!

Oh, hang in there, folks. This is SO worth it, and it DOES work!

Congrats to all -- keep shakin'!

Wow, looks like everyone is in just an awesome mood this morning!! How excellent is that?!

I'm down exactly 0.0 for the week, but since, as Rae said (I think), I got the prize from last week (6 lbs), I'm not sweating it one bit! I'm guessing the big prize goes to Donna this week! Rock on!

As for everyone wrangling with those slow weeks, they just happen (kind of like you-know-what!). But definitely hang in there!! Leaving out that first week of loss, my rate of loss has actually INCREASED since I started. Who knew that would happen?!?

Oh yes, I do have something to celebrate! Friday was my 100th day on Medifast!! Yeeeeeeehaw!

24k - a big congrats on joining the 50# club!

Kassi, you are *this* close to joining us in the 50# club, and it sure is nice here! :)

Christi: Have you ever lost 20# like this and felt this great?!

Heidi, we're hoping to see you in the 20# club soon too!

All losses are good, and everyone should be super proud of themselves!

Have a super duper week everyone!

Hey BK........I did lose this much ONE TIME and FELT THIS GREAT......and it was 16 years ago when I did MEDIFAST THE FIRST TIME :D

Well let me step back a little bit........I didn't feel quite as good as I do this time. It was ONLY choco vanilla and strawberry shakes back then. NOTHING ELSE! nada zippo zilch and it was haaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrd on me at age 19. It felt great to lose my weight back then, but it really was hard.

This time around it is sooooooooo much easier and simply because of this forum and you guys that I am growing to truly care for every day. I love all the stuff I have and having my little "real meal" at night is really great. My diabetes is in control now with no meds at all, my blood pressure is down to normal and well...walking in heels is easier now too 8)

I'm 35 years old now.......I have 3 colllege degrees..... 2 kids.......and the same 1 husband! The countdown is complete......all I have left is to cross the FINISH LINE! :burnout:

Good afternoon to all! Just a quick check in. 2lbs down this week to a total of 15lbs so far. Still struggling with wanting real food, but trying to hang in there best I can. Continue to send prayer and good thoughts my way.

Blessings to all, Bess :)
