Bummer about your vacation and the smoke! I bet it's just makin' ya'll miserable! I got a jury summons at the same time we'd bought tickets to the Netherlands in April. I submitted a request to change dates and they just moved me to another one after the trip. They shoulda done that for ya'll!

Yeah Mike this smoke is so bad. Starting to really get to me now. While driving home from work last night I felt I was in a awful movie, like the earth ( or just cali) was burning up...a weird feeling. The air is so thick!

So are you going to Oregon, or putting it off? How is their air up there?

Two days ago you said you were still OP, is that the case for today? Keep it up!!

My dad and daughter have been traveling in that area. Spent a few days in LaPalma, CA then headed north (Salvang, Hirst Castle, San Fran). They had to take a 3 hour detour around a closed hiway because of the fires. Today they are in Kalamath Falls, OR, then to Crater Lake and headed to Portland. Deanna is flying home from there, Dad is staying in OR for a while (Yippee!)

Sure hope Di is feeling better. I know migraines - not fun!

We got the news from jury duty (no duty) so left town about 830 that night. Been up here for 2 days and no smoke (at least nothing like down there).
Will be here for a week. Hope it stops, but looking at the news... no stop on alot of the fires yet.

On plan still, down 2 lbs since last Sunday.

If you are in the Portland area you should give my sis a call. If anyone can give you motivation to stay OP and keep on rollin it is her. I know she would love to get together for a lean and green or coffee. Her motto - coffee, coffee, coffee gotta have my coffee!

Well, we are about 3 hours South of there (Grants Pass) - we are up here fairly often as it is where Di's sister lives.

Your sis is wonderful and we look forward to seeing her again at the end of July. Nancy keeps us on track and we love her little messages as well.

Hang in there yourself..... and remember, in those times when you are about to do something you shouldn't, call your health coach/sister.

She's nice to everyone else - she is my sister so she thinks she can be mean to me. I love her though. My mom will be in Florida too, so you will get to meet her also.

I guess they looked at a house there that they fell in love with. We were told to get a sign to get this one up for sale.

Sounds like someone may be moving soon....

It is a strong possibility. Probably not to that particular house since this one has to sell first, but we are all a little tired of Ohio and are ready for a change.

Small world eh? I drove down from P town in the morning to pick up a dog and drove back to P town in the afternoon.

Can't blame it all there... there are Oregon fires too.

We got here early Friday morning. Its been a nice respite.

What kind of dog? Rescue dog? We just got one ourselves and brought her and our other dog with us.
