Was that a "musing" or a "thought"?

Flight Canceled. :(

My son and I got to the airport at 9 a.m. for a 10:15 flight, and were told that at 8:16 a.m. the "plane had been taken out of service." By that time, of course, we were well on our way to the airport. Flight canceled.

I am not a happy camper.

They booked us on a flight leaving around 6 tonight, and gave us vouchers for the shuttle to get us back home. So I'm back home at the moment, eating my MF chili, and chomping at the bit. Sigh.

Total bummer, Dudette ~

At least chomping at the bit is calorie-free!

We feel a whole lot better about having you hang out at home for a while than to have something hinky happen on your flight...

THAT would be terrible!!

Here you are, hanging out with your MakeMeThinnerandHappier Forum Friends.

Well........at least you are already packed! :-P

I hate when flights are cancelled.......especially when it is a VACATION flight.

Just pretend that if you had gotten on the earlier flight.......a CRYING BABY would have been sitting behind you the whole time. The later flight will be a quiet one....

Have a GREAT TIME on your Hawaiian Vacation!

Did the flight being cancelled have anything to do with cell phones and the internet not working today? (or was that just in my area?)

Did anyone else have trouble with this?

Being in the classroom all day I hear nothing from the outside world. We had no internet service for most of the day and all of our cell phones were not working either.

Just curious.

Heh heh heh... I was just checkin' to make sure you were paying attention...

About Donica's cell phones, that's weird! I've had internet all day in DC with no problems, but haven't tried the cell. Haven't heard about anything hinky, though! (Nancy, "hinky" is now my new word of the day... :D )

We're home, as posted elsewhere, and we've had a blast! I have started a thread in Studio with some pictures.

This thread has gotten very long, and it seems like a good place to end it and start another one. As it happens I left for Hawaii -- and took my MF break -- on the 100th day of Medifasting, having lost 48.5 pounds. It seems like a good place to end this thread and start another for the Second Hundred Days, so I shall make this my last post here. See y'all on the flip side!
