It is Sunday night and I am reading everyone's success stories and I realize I could have also had a success story if I would have stuck to the program ! :x I am starting over tomorrow. I will update my ticker when I weigh in the morning.

Hello,

Not so good! :x I have decided to take a vacation. I will be leaving on the 22nd to go see my family in Santa Fe New Mexico. I have made the decision to re-start again on Monday October 2nd. By that time I should be in the right mind set to get this done. I will post my weight on 10/2. Thanks for checking in on me though ! :)

welcome back

Postby LAwoman » September 17th, 2006, 3:30 pm

Hi electra000 & BerkshireGrl,

WELCOME BACK!!!

I know that feeling of recognizing the success ya' COULD have had, had ya' STUCK TO THE PROGRAM. I was close to goal last summer, went on vacation, and then had one restart after another where, after gaining back 1/2 the weight I'd lost, I'd lose 10/gain10/lose 10...

Sometimes I think, boy, if I had just stuck to the program & maintenance, I'd be at goal weight, eating what I want..., and then I realize, no, I wouldn't be "eating what I want" or I'd be right back here.

So I decided to get philisophical about the whole thing. ;) I've already realized this fact, now I'm learning to accept the fact that to lose and then keep the weight off I really do have to always be accountable to what I eat.

Soooooooo, I'm back too, ready to reach goal, and then keep the weight off.

BerkshireGrl - I remember you when I first started in March 2005. I look forward to reading all your success stories on your way to goal.

electra000 - Enjoy your vacation. Maybe you can use it as a time to pay attention to what and when you eat, the triggers...., and use that to help you reach your goal. Look forward to your return 10/2 and seeing you reach goal too.

WHOO HOO - WE CAN DO THIS!!!
