I have officially completed my 4th week for a grand total of 16.7 pounds. Yeah!!! I didn't quite make it to the 180's but that's just a day or so away. I was checking my progress against my progress the last time I was on program and I'm right on track. I lost 16 pounds in the first month. If all goes well, my stats for the 2nd month was 28.5 lbs total. That would put me at 178.5. Woo hoo - that would be ideal!!

It was a very busy, productive weekend for me. Not much play... just did alot of stuff around the house. At least that's done!!!

We have a halloween party to go to on Friday night. It has an 80's theme and I've already got my costume. It's kinda Madonna-looking but not risque. It actually fits me pretty well. Only drawback.... if I have to go to the bathroom, I have to take the whole flipping thing off... ugh, guess I'll have to slow the water drinking down to a trickle!!

Hope all have a good Monday!

Smarti- You make me laugh. For some reason I have a visual of you in leg warmers and a headband removing your leotard while you pee. LOL

Congrats on the weight loss...I hope that I have as great a first month as you have had. I am starting week 3, so you know what that means!

16.7 pounds....WHOO HOO!!! And in your first month...

Your costume sounds wonderful. I too would be concerned about having to pee. On this program, when I have to pee, I have to pee like right now. I was at a soccer game on Saturday which I had to leave to find a bathroom and the same thing happened on Sunday. We also did some shopping and I had to stop in the bathroom twice. My 7 year old son was like...again?? and starting laughing at me.

Congratulations on your success.

OK so here's the costume...... It's a black, one piece leotard thing that has straps that cross in the back and it extends all the way down to the knee (ONE PIECE). Then you have a black, netted skirt and a hot pink lack jacket/shirt (that covers all your bare skin, THANK GOD), and a big, hot pink lace bow. OK - imagine taking all of that off just to take a pee - OMG!

Today was a very successful day for me. I typically have lunch with my best friend every day. She wanted pizza... so I went and had a salad. Then I come back and one of the departments I manage was having a bday party along with banana splits. I went and didn't have any. I was so good. It's all about..... "how bad to you want to lose the weight?" Well, I'm past my first week, going into my 5th and definitely ready to lose the weight.

Hope all is well,

Keri

Sounds like an awesome 80's outfit. I hope you have a great time.

Good job with staying on program both with the pizza lunch and the birthday party. I love pizza so that would have been hard for me. I saw a recipe on this forum for pizza but it just does not seem legal.

Keep up the good work. :D

Hey, beautiful!!

Good to see you!!! Glad you're being successful. I'm on more than 50%, but I've gotta do better. Well done on your choices at the pizza place and the birthday party at work!

Hi All,

Tomorrow will be the end of my 6th week and I've lost a little over 20 pounds - yeah!! No cheats... just motivated to get this darn weight off. Been working out lots which helps with the toning down.

Yesterday had a NSV where I went through the bedroom closet that has all my old, grown out of clothes. I was putting them in piles of sizes - 14s, 12s, 10s, and 8s (yes, I got into 8's the last time around). I decided to try on some jeans in the 14 pile to see just how far away I was. Well - not only did they fit but they fit perfectly (no fat hanging over the waistband!!). Jeez, had I not done that, I would have missed the opportunity to wear the almost brand new jeans I had in that pile.

Hope all are doing well. Staying on program provides fantastic rewards - much better than the instant gratification of a bite of food!!!

Hey Smarti;

Thanks for posting today. I have a stack of 14s that I'm dying to get back into - that was as low as I got before going off way back when to have the baby. Of course first I have to get back into the non-maternity clothes, which are 18s. The next time I buy clothes it will be in size 10 - looking forward to that day, one day.

Anyway, I was saying thanks for posting because it did my heart good to read that you have finished 6 weeks and are down 20 pounds. Sometimes I look at how much I have to lose and I get discouraged. 20 pounds doesn't seem like much to lose at the beginning when you have that huge number staring you in the face - but you have to start to even get that far.

Today is my last day 1. Time to get this phase over with, so I can learn about maintenance and how to enjoy my thin self for life.

So here's to our 14s in the closet!

Congratulations on the 20 pound loss and being able to fit into your size 14 jeans. That is such wonderful news.

I also want to thank you for your support...without you I am not sure I would have made it to the end of Week 3 let along Week 1. Thanks so much!!

I'm doing great! I've finally finished TOM and now the pounds are coming off again!! About ready to go workout tonight.

Today was a holiday and I had the day off. Did some stuff around the house cuz it's too icky outside. I really need to rake leaves.

We just made arrangements for a cruise in May - YEAH!!! We are going on a Mexican Riviera cruise on Royal Caribbean. I have done 3 other cruises on the Caribbean so this will be new. I have gone to Playa del Carmen and Cabo san Lucas before but two ports, Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta are new. I'm so excited because by that time, I will be SKINNY!!!!

Hope all are having a good week! Has anyone tried the new bars yet? Mine will be ordered soon.

I am so excited for you about the cruise. I am sure you will have a wonderful time.

I just ordered the bars so I should get them by the end of the week. I had asked the same question in my journal and so far nobody has tried them. I sure hope they are good. I think I bought 3 or 4 boxes.

Keep up the good work.

Hiya Everyone,

Been a busy week here. We went and saw Carrie Underwood and Little Big Town on Monday - woo hoo - it was awesome. We also have tickets to go see Brad Paisley and Dierks Bentley in February. Soo looking forward to that.

Yesterday I went to Victoria's Secret to buy a new bra. Just so all you peaches can get a mental picture of me... I wear a 38C (BARELY). When I lose my all my weight, I'm in a 34B. I inherited the big butt instead of the big boobs. I had this lady measure me to see if I had changed any. Apparently to the sales clerk, I had .. quite a bit. She measures me and says 38DD. L M A O ! ! ! I looked at her and said "what? double D I DON'T THINK SO" as I'm almost falling on the ground laughing as I'm looking at my baby boobies. She says "well, that's what the tape measure is saying... maybe try a D, what size are you wearing now?" OK, Peaches, I have a big butt, but my girls are not even close to be called double DD big. I can't even squeeze the two girls together to make a double D. HAHA! She has me go and try on a 38D. I roll my eyes. I come walking out with the nicest pucker bra you could imagine. She then apologized. OMG, woman! Could you not look at my chest and see that I'm not a DD!!!

My weight is slowly but surely coming off. I've lost 24.7 pounds in 7 weeks - I'm excited. Finally fit in my size 14s.... looking forward to the 12s, 10s, and 8s.

Hope all are having a good week.
