OK I'm starting a new journal because I need to gain control. It's confession time and I'm hoping my journal will not only help me be accountable but to all those who have easily fallen off the wagon over a period of time to back on track.

I started Medifast January of 2006 and lost 67 pounds in a few short months. I went from a size 18/20 to a size 8, went from the weight of 212 down to 147. I can't tell you how wonderful I felt!

Then the holidays came... slowly nibbling on the things I shouldn't; slowly gaining those pounds back. I have no one to be upset with but myself. I'm now at 171 and a size 12. All my skinny clothes are sitting there waiting for me.

So it's confession time......... and time for a new start. I know the program works and it will again.

My goal........... to lose the weight that I have gained back, take control of my health and get into that two-piece bathing suit I have bought for my cruise the end of September. That is only 2-1/2 months away. We can do wonders in 2-1/2 months!!

I'm going to do it!

Welcome back, smarti! :D

You're right, this stuff works, like crazy! You are sure to lose your sneaky regained pounds... and I bet you will make it in time for your cruise! 24 pounds in 10 weeks, or 2.4 a week? Definitely do-able!

No matter how fast those nibbly pounds go, you're bound to be skinnier!

I love that this program is here for us when we are headstrong and try to ignore what we know is the best thing to do. Welcome back! I look forward to getting to know you better.

Well, if he gives you anything for gaining (which I highly doubt), I'm sure I will get it for not losing

See ya soon. Keep the jaw up when you see Di, she looks fabu. ;)

I'm sorry to read about the weight gain, just because I can guess at the feelings you may have about it happening.....but I am glad you have decided to take the weight off 'with' us. I look forward to getting to know you.

OK today is the start of day 3...... woo hoo ketosis time just around the corner. I haven't had one cheat and the scale shows. I'm already down 5 pounds since Sunday..... gotta love that water weight.

Yesterday I was a bit tired, especially at the end of the day. Holy schmoley, I went to be at 9PM hehehehe. It could have been a combo of 90 degree weather, just golfed 9 holes after work and starting on program again.

I really appreciate all the kind words. For those who are dedicated to this program....... do NOT come off this until your weight is off. Restarting is the pits. You KNOW the program works but those pesky food demons just sabotage you. We have to take control. I can't tell you how many people I know that have had problems with restarting. I will conquer this!!I will not be chubby anymore!!

You go girl!!

As often as my mind takes me on food binges, I know I'd be one who would start over eating and regaining if I went off the program right now. I am going to have to take transition slowly and methodically along with watching myself closely during maintenance/the rest of my life....or I'll go right back to obesity. :? I wish it weren't so......but I truly believe I'm 'not cured'....I'm just hoping I have what it takes to make that inner brat of mine submit to my will. ;)
