Thanks Tawanda. I woke up Thursday with a bad sore throat and thought I had Strep, but the culture said negative. Friday it was clearly a Sinus infection. Alot better today, but its trying to linger. At least I could get up and go do stuff... I hate being down and not be able to get up and get stuff done (alot different from before Medifast - would have just laid there like a lump).

Anyhow, thanks for checking in on me.

 Sorry you're under the weather, Mike.
I guess a sinus infection is better than strep though, eh? ;)
That's prolly not very helpful  but, dude, you've experienced
an NSV even while you're ill.....you're no longer a sick lump!!

Okay, I'm shutting up now!
Here's some Sojo's Mojo for ya', buddy!

I'm better now.... just clearing the head out now.

Its stinkin hot (well, warmer than it has been), and tomorrow is going to be even more. Like you need to know, probably mid 90's down in Mo Town

I hear ya! Today's high was 88 and the high temp for tomorrow is s'posed to be 96! Day before yesterday the high was 63 degrees. I don't normally mind the hot stuff, but give a sister time to adjust, huh?

Ah, well. I still prefer this weather to the cold and rainy stuff. Must be my hot-blooded...uh, I mean...sunny nature, eh? <img src="http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/16/16_6_1v.gif" alt="SmileyCentral.com" border="0"><img border="0" src="http://plugin.smileycentral.com/http%253A%252F%252Fimgfarm%252Ecom%252Fimages%252Fnocache%252Ftr%252Ffw%252Fsmiley%252Fsocial%252Egif%253Fi%253D16%252F16_6_1v/image.gif">

Well, I'm certainly glad that you're feeling better, Mike. Hey did you read the post where Sharon ( a newbie) has the same b-day as we do? Yup. You're still the baby though...her next is 40...and yours is what? 29?

Hasta!

Well, you may be physically older, but as long as you don't act it, nobody would ever know it (unless they read your journal);)

I try my best to not act mine... gotta stay young so I don't lose touch with the kids I teach

Thanks to everyone for their well wishes. I'm better now, and back to work. We start the state testing today, so should be an interesting week.

That's not always easy to do, is it? Middle schoolers can be so weird. I actually caught myself calling one of my students "dude" today. They all laughed, and I said, "what?......you guys say it all the time?"

Yeah, I do that all the time, so its not weird coming from me.
My students like to come to me (I just wish that some of them didn't) :x
