Thanks ROBIN and JO,

It would be great to pass up the Fitness Queen of MF, but probably won't happen. But I can dream...

And JO, the Fashion Queen of MF. Hoping to see some of them duds modeled soon.
Anyway, I plan to update that 'sexy' lipstick avatar soon. Don't want to leave the wrong impression for Silver Fox's fans!

You guys are something else!

Has it been that long since I posted on my journal?
But you'll forgive me since I have been posting on some other forums and noticing all the goal winners...including JO, LAURA, LAUREN AND NOVA!
(Still waiting on their 'after' pictures, tho'... except for NOVA)
There are others too, all winners!

I was 130.9 this morning so still well under goal. I would be pretty upset to go up above goal! :x

My exercise consists of water aerobics 3 times a week, and walking on other days when I can. It has worked good for me so far.
I eat oatmeal EVERY morning to start the day off good. I try to fit in 2-3 supplements each day along with my other allowed foods. Yes, peanut butter, too!

I don't post as much as I would like too, but you can be sure that I am still out here and checking on the progress of so many.
I'm proud of you all for sticking in there and being accountable.
You are inspiring!

DEDE,
I've been watching your numbers and so expecting you to be in the 170's range very soon!
Something nice sounding about that...especially for your Christmas party in LA. Then the 160's...Woohoo!
Hope you take a picture in your Christmas outfit to share!
Love you, pal!

Thanks guys for the birthday greets!
Not everyday that you get to congratulate a 77 year old Medifaster.
I keep wondering if there is anyone out there who is as 'experienced' as I am on MF.
You are all doing so great and I am so proud of you.
Goal is within reach for all of you...

Hey, DIANA, I want to be the first to wish you a Happy Birthday (Dec. 30th)
And here's wishing you all a wonderful and blessed Christmas!

SATURDAY, FEB. 3, 2007

WOWZER! I looked down the journal posts and I couldn't believe I was so far down!
Seems like everybody is journalling except me!
Anyway, here I am...
I was at 134 this morning, just one pound under goal weight after 5 months of maintenance.
This is okay...I have been lower which was nice, but holding my own like this is good!
I read posts and post a little but not like I'd like to.
It is exciting to see the many newbies, and others who are staying the course and losing...still others who are maintaining. WHOHOO!
For me, maintaining is becoming a way of life.
The principles I learned on Medifast, and reading all I can about healtful foods, and examples of others who are maintaining help so much.
I weigh each day to see that I am staying within bounds.
I exercise moderately almost every day, water aerobics and walking.
And I still eat 6 small meals and snacks each day.
So many people have contributed to my weight loss and maintenance and believe me, I do appreciate it!
Thank you all,
 Lizabette

FEB. 5, 2007,

   134.5#

Our Nancy reminded me that I have maintained for almost as long as it took me to lose 60+ pounds.
Is that fantastic or what?

I am also considering a new mini-goal. It is to lose another 5 pounds to get to a firm 130# and then maintain that weight.
To do so, I would probably need to go back on at least a modified 5 & 1 plan.
I have been very happy with my goal weight of 135# and have not really had a difficult time maintaining.
I am wearing size 8's and 10's. I love wearing cute clothes!
My health statistics are good, but of course could always be better!
My BMI is not quite the ideal number yet!
First, I want to be sure that is really what is best for me, and then go after it!
Thinking...thinking...

Hi Liz,

I'm actually considering the same thing, but I'm waiting for a few months. I want to get a little more comfortable with my maintenance first. I say, if you want it, go for it!

You just want an excuse to shop some more to buy even smaller Barbie clothes for yourself!

BIKI BABE! You are getting soooooo perceptive! Next time, do me as a Barbie! I wuv ya!

JO! I'm so glad for your encouragement...what I love about you guys...you're just there for us whatever we try to do!
I was at 135.5 this morning! No idea why, but maybe a signal that going for the lower weight is what I should do, before anything gets out of hand!

But I'm not giving up my 'maintenance medallion'. :x I worked too hard for that...just calling this a mini-goal!
I'm going to the Doctor this morning, because of what I believe is an ear infection, so gotta go now, but back later!
