Sunday Morning Roll Call February 26th, 2006

Postby Nancy » February 26th, 2006, 2:17 am

 Hey, where is every one? :idontknow:

I stayed up late to meet the first person reporting for the last February weigh-in!

As we almost say :byebye: good-bye to Feb., I betcha a lot of you are also saying good-bye to more fluffies this week! :exercise:

Just want to send a little note of  encouragement to those of you who are cliff-hangers this week...you know who you are...the scale goes up and down and all around and then it stays the same, day after day and you have been totally program-compliant. Argh! :x

Some of you are around the 25-30 pound loss mark and our body will sometimes take a break for 7-10 days. Try as ya might, the scale wonw't comply and the old bod just needs some time to reorganize and get ready for another trip down the scale.

If you are in a holding pattern, trust me, this is not going to last forever.

Use this time to do some journaling, clean out your closet or dresser drawers, add a few stretches or begin some crunches to your exercise routine.

Try a Lean Cuisine recipe, go to the mall and sniff the latest fragrance (and I don't mean to take a whiffy of Cinnabon in the Food Court!)

Try a new hairstyle - Big Ron and Ktrout - spike your hair! Get highlights! Get a smaller ball cap or look for a cool new T Shirt that says, "I lost 25 pounds, ask me how!"!

Whatever ya do, don't give up!

It happens to all of us. :uhuh: Eventually, the needle on the scale WILL budge if you don't :whip: harm it!

We are in it, to win it! :boing:

:coach: Losers don't give up! We just keep on losin'!

:secret: Have you taken your measurements lately?

Try on some clothes in the back of the closet - maybe you'll discover some you never wore before. My Terry found a pile of slacks with the price tags still on...he forgot he even had them in there!

Hangeth in there!
I'll be watching for you! :whattha:

I am one of those slow losers, but, this week was the biggest weekly loss I've had since I began the program. Dropped 4 lbs. :clapclap: And, it is also the first week I've cheated since I've been medifasting... on 3 days this past week, I had two bars (I know, bad, bad girl...shame on me) and the sad thing about it is I didn't feel one ounce of guilt about it. Please don't send any flames my way, I know it was a no no.

Goodmorning everyone! Nancy, what on earth are you doing up that late? or early? Yikes! Great motivational post to wake up to on a Sunday morning. Puts ya in the right frame of mind for roll call! :D

Patti, great job on the 4lbs! Keep up the great work!

As for me, I'm down 2 lbs this week. Moving right along towards goal. I'm hoping I'll be there by the end of March or beginning of April. The goal I have list of 125 is a tentative goal and could change. Once I get there I will re-evaluate the situation  Meaning, are those stupid lumps of fat still sitting on my hips! They're tiny, but they are there and they are DRIVING ME NUTS!

Hope everyone has a great week and no more stalls! Good luck everyone! Have a great week!

Patti, LJM, Spunky, a big high 5 for all your hard work!!!

I lost 2 lbs since I started back on the program last Wed, it was so easy, all I did was open my MF cupboard and my pkgs were waiting for me, I had to dust off my Davinci syrup, but I am so glad to get moving again.
I do Jazzercise 2x a week, too and as soon as my neighbor gets the king-size bed I'm giving him out of my guest room, my Pilates machine will go in there and I am going to hit that thing real hard this week.

Keep up the ggod work, MF buddies :-P

Yeah, I know. Most recent one was 10 days. But, I'm used to them now. I'm the queen of plateaus! You will notice, however, that my weight ticker is moving downward overall. I still am averaging over 3 lbs. per week.

This week my total loss is 3 lbs.......moved to the 60 lb club. (woohooo)

Congrats to all of you losers and also to all of you who are waiting out yet another plateau.

Happy Sunday gang! Nancy, thanks for staying up late to give us a wonderful dose of encouragement this morning! Well, its week 23 and I'm down 3 pounds for a total of 77 pounds forever. If I can repeat this for the next two weeks it'll be the 80 pound club next week and Onederland the next ... fingers crossed!! Hope everyone enjoys the remainder of the weekend!

Wow Nancy great post. :bravo: As LJM498 said what a great way to start out the Sunday morning roll call. Thank you.

Great job to all the losers and the plateau"ers" who keep pluggin along waiting for the next drop. :yourock: I think you plateau"ers" are my heroes, and I will be leaning on you for support here soon I know.

I am down another 5lbs this week for a total of 14 in 2 weeks. I have fit into jeans and shirts I haven't worn in almost 3 years. My shoes don't fit right anymore, and my rings are twirling.

Congrats to everyone here, and happy Shakin for another week.

Hi Nancy, and all you fabulous and less-flabbulous MFers.

"Don't Cry For Me, Argentina" but I am one of those veritable "cliffhangers" today. Still barely hanging on to my 20 pound loss.

But I am okay this morning! I know I'm 'snow-plowing' down slippery slopes, but at least I'm not falling on my 'you know what!'

Good going to all of you 'goers' this morning. I'm ready for my wonderful morning oatmeal. And you better believe I will watch myself like a hawk at "The Ole Feed House" buffett after church today.

Yes, I will absolutely pass up the most succulent dinner rolls and cinnamon rolls I have ever tasted. (Before MF, that is!) They have some tasty baked fish or chicken and veggies I can savor, and feel righteous watching the others go their sinful ways.

God is good!

This is my first weekly weight reporting but not quite at the week mark for the program yet. Started on 2/21 but have lost 15 lbs! I am thrilled and anxious to see what next week brings. It is really encouraging to see how much others have lost for the week and their totals. I am hoping to loose 80lbs, the rest of you make me believe I can do it too!

I'm down 2lbs this week. Was hoping for more. I know, I know...no lectures. It just makes me nervous that I'll taper off completely and then stop losing because I had a big loss the first week.

Congratulations everyone on your loss. Everybody is doing so well!
