Sunday morning Roll Call February 1, 2004

Postby Maggie » February 1st, 2004, 7:12 am

Oh, What a beautiful morning. It's cold here in Kentucky (and just about everywhere else) but the sun is shining in the window and I Feel Good!

The grand total of the weight loss that was posted on the roll call last week was 98 lbs. That is just the total of the 15 who posted their loss on the roll call. Come on everybody. Let's go over the 100 mark next week.

My loss this week is 5 lbs for a total of 46 lbs. in 9 weeks.

Great job Maggie!!

I kissed 4 pounds good-by this week for a total of 36 pounds.

Non-stop snow around here, I'm really think that shivering should count as an aerobic activity!

Keep up the great work everyone!

Hi Maggie!
It sounds like you are doing fantastic! Congratulations! 46 lbs. in 9 weeks, that's over 5 lbs. a week! I hope to do as well as you. Today is day 19 for me. As of this morning I weighed 209 lbs. I've gotten rid of 15 lbs. so far, and gotten rid of 1 1/2 in. from my chest ( which I can definitely spare, so that's a good thing for me! ) 3 1/2 in. from my waist ( which is also a good thing, since I'm an "apple" shape. My husband even said he is starting to see my curves again! ) and 2 1/2 in. from my hips! Keep up the great work everyone and if you happen to fall off the wagon from time to time don't give up, just jump right back on! WE CAN DO THIS! As long as I hit goal by summer I'll be happy. Thanks again Maggie for the great "Sunday Roll Call" I look forward to it! Keep up the great work everyone!

Good Morning Maggie,

Well, I checked in late last week for roll call- but will get on schedule this week! Since thursday, down 2 pounds - a total 13 pounds in 13 days!

I tried my first pickle last night.....what a treat! Am waiting for some new and different food to be delivered from Medifast this week, looking forward to trying some chili, cream soups, fast soups, crackers and new shake flavors. I have been doing fine with 2 types of soups, 2 shakes, 2 different bars and oatmeal, but looking forward to more variety. Also bought some Splenda yesterday - oatmeal is much better with a little sweetener - I also enjoyed my coffee a lot more with the Splenda.

Wishing everyone a great week! ;)

Hi all --- Maggie I found your "roll call" post right after I sent you the email.
Everyone is doing so awesome and so much positive information and feed back --- YEAH!!!! I started on 1/24/04 so my first week (7 days) ended with my weigh-in on Saturday morning ---HOW SHOCKED WAS I!!!! Whether it's water or whatever I am carrying around 14.5 pounds less than I was a week ago!!!! At a 290 start weight and a lot of discouraged feeling just from wondering if I can do this - I really needed a strong start --- Thank you GOD - I got one. I'm into week two and I must say compared to ssooo many of the plans I have tryed over the years - everything you all have said is proving to be true .... about the first 3 or 4 days, about the reduction in hunger and oh yes, the peeing  I'll spend the next year in the bathroom if it means I can shed this coat of armor I continue to wear .... You ALL inspire me - I'm glad your are here and I am really glad I tracked you down!!!!!!!

Well, I confessed how bad I had been the last week on another thread, so it's no surprise that I am up 2 pounds. Sorry to skew your total results - but if I don't share my bad times as well as my good, then I'm not using the boards to their best capabilities.

I won't change my sig line until I get back down again, though. Can't take THAT much humiliation.
