But I am happy for all the milestones and new clubs and great losses of you all! WTG! Image

Hey, Lizabette, I am going to have to put the smack down on you here because I have never seen "worms" in the quick start guide as a suitable protein. I think they are not program compliant for either weightloss OR maintenance so I wouldn't recommend eating them . hee hee.

CONGRATULATIONS ON MEETING YOUR SECOND WEIGHTLOSS GOAL, LIZABETTE !!

I'm afraid I agree with Karli here, Liz. That would be a slippery, slimy slope! I wouldn't go there.

I posted earlier but my post must be in cyberspace somewhere as my computer froze ... :x

Congrats to all the loosers and maintainers! And sooooo many made a new club!!! WOOHOO!

I am down 3 lbs for a total of 38.5 lbs. --- making me an even 200! :)

I was at a Mardi Gras party last night and planned on having a drink--but I realized that I could socialize just as well with a diet coke in my hand. I make the choice to not have that mint julip and stay on the plan and make a healthier choice for myself! That was a real NSV.

Sherry, I know how you feel. I am just 1.5# away from the 40# club. We just need to hang in there and it will happen! Medifast works when we stay on plan! :cheermed:

Miss KARLI and Miss JO,

Image Just so you know, Fried silkworms are a delicacy in China. Great source of protein. We should lobby Medifast to consider it for the Quick Start Guide.
Giant silk worm pupae were fried in vegetable oil, no spices (not even salt!) were used, as the pupae themselves are tasting pretty good.
NOTE: Pupae of silkworms which just finished producing silk was also good food.

Now, what was it I said...?

I believe you would have to boil or steam them to make them compliant. Or maybe you could bake them, but how do you keep them from crawling out of the pan?

I am here to report 0 loss this week, but I'm not going to let it get me down. I will, however, be weighing myself frequently to see if I can't get rid of that 1 lousy pound to hit 20. If it sticks for 2 days I will be reporting it before next Monday!!

Hi

Postby dede4wd » February 19th, 2007, 7:55 am

Just checking in on everyone. I've been compliant all week, but am traveling and scaleless...I'll weigh again on the 26th or 27th. By then I'm hoping to report a 20# until goal report...we'll see!

Way to go everyone! Kelleegirl, it'll get better, stick with it, cheering for you!

Next week should be exciting...Joelie AND Tony at goal AND Lizabette maintaining her second goal with worms! I can't wait!
