It's so weird. You look just like a friend of mine in your avatar. Not so much in the full size picture, but in the little one I swear I am looking at a friend of mine. I even clicked on your web page to make sure you weren't named Christina! You aren't her, but oh man, every time I see your posts I feel like I already know you because of that.

After reading your little blog statements I came back here and read a little. It makes it hard to justify cheating a little bit at home when here is someone who cheated not at all with cruise food. I've never been on one, but I have always wanted to the the Alaskan one. It's great that you had a good time and enjoyed yourself.

I must have one of those faces. I get that alot. I've even had people stop me on the street and ask me if I'm related to so and so. Several times I've had people pass me on the street and say "Hi Becky" or "Pam", lol.

We went on the Alaska cruise two years ago. I was hesitant because all of the cruises I had been on before were all about the beach and hot weather. But, let me tell you......Alaska was magnificent! The cruiseline did a great job. Each beach chair had a folded wool blanket so that you could still sit outside and watch the sights. They served hot chocolate and cream of mushroom soup on the decks.....stuff like that. And the sights.....just amazing. If you can go.....do it, because it's well worth it!

Jo ~ I thought you were someone I knew, as well. I also went to your other pics, just to be sure, but everytime I see your avatar pic I feel like I'm looking at Mrs. Smith (one of my undergrad nursing instructors).

Ok, I gotta know, how did you stay on plan during your cruise? I am going to enjoy my food, but don't want to overindulge. I will have a good breakfast and good dinner, but may have Medi-bars for lunch and maybe a shake for snack. And I will stick to clear wine drinks, none of that banana-cream foo-foo I normally have!

BeachBaby, It was easy. See my above post for the details. I actually think it was easier than deciding to have limited cheats.

Your plan sounds fine if that's what you want to do. I just chose not to go off plan.

Have a great time! Bermuda is beautiful this time of year. We had a 1 day stop there this trip, but I've been there before. A few tips......beware of the scooters. I had a nasty spill on one a few years back. Don't forget to check out the business men........bermuda shorts, knee high socks and patton leather shoes! I found it quite sexy, lol.

I just want to say, great job on staying on MF during your cruise. I went on my first cruise last year and the food is so tempting... I think that amazing you could say no. ;)

I, like you, for the first time in years feel normal. I don't feel like the fat girl anymore. I know I'm not skinny, but I know I don't feel like I am invisible anymore... you know when you get to a certain point weightwise and no one notices you...makes eye contact, holds a door, even remembers you. I'm not invisible and I'm not ashamed anymore.

I'll be thinking about you when I'm at Seminar in a few weeks, surrounded by temptation... If Jo can do it, so can I.

Well, I had bridge club at my house yesterday. All of the ladies (most are in their 70's) gushed over me. It was kind of embarassing. I had to say "stop it! enough already!" lol. One lady said "you just look better every time I see you". I replied "But, I've always been inside there somewhere. I was just hidden by the fat". She laughed.....but I was speaking the truth. Anyone who has lost alot of weight knows what I mean. I don't think I feel as different as I look. I'm still the same person I was....only much happier. :D

BTW, I just love playing bridge. I would do it professionally if I could, lol. Bridge is sort of like alot of things in life including Medifast and weight control.......it takes a short time to learn, but a lifetime to master.
