1st: thank you all so much for your surprising enthusiasm. I thought I was psych'd...this is like coming home thru the Atlanta Falcons (pick a favorite team) cheerleaders! I am humbled at the warmth you share with a newbee.

2nd: gotta tell you I had a tough day at work today. Coming home and finding all these shared smiles certainly made my day a great deal brighter. Thank you so much.

Ron ~

When you're going thru the trials by fire come here for inspiration.

I have :help: rough days too - two years and four months past goal, you'd think the  'food thinks' would go away.

 They don't.

Still there but not as often and the foody :headphones2: voices are not nearly as loud as they used to be!

:coach: Food is not our friend. Food is not our friend. Food is not our friend. Food is not our friend. Food is not our friend.

:point: Nothing tastes as good as thin feels. Nothing tastes as good as thin feels. Nothing tastes as good as thin feels. Nothing tastes as good as thin feels.

More than the amazing numbers for my 1st week loss...I am far prouder that I made it safely thru the LONG weekend without failing MYSELF. I ate my Medifast meals as I was scheduled and came out safely on the other side.
And though this may seem trite...I gotta share with you that I was afraid of falling to temptation going in. Score: Me ONE; food ZERO! Plenty more battles to face...but for this ONE I win. And I win the confidence to know I can. Win. Against food

Ron, this is really true about the program - it seems as if we feel the confidence and power of the program and we begin to know that the success of others becomes our own personal success, too.

It took me a while to develop confidence in my own ability to stick to the program but once I got it, no one and no thing could stop me!

You are on a roll now! Go for it!

Well...this certainly is working well for me (other than an allergic reaction to the soy protein, apparently). Down FORTY (40) pounds as of this morning in less than 4 weeks.
I may have been a skeptic...but as the Monkee's said so well back in the late 60's: I'm a believer!
