Hi Tawanda,
<img src="http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/23/23_30_126.gif" alt="SmileyCentral.com" border="0"><img border="0" src="http://plugin.smileycentral.com/http%253A%252F%252Fimgfarm%252Ecom%252Fimages%252Fnocache%252Ftr%252Ffw%252Fsmiley%252Fsocial%252Egif%253Fi%253D23%252F23_30_126/image.gif">
For the info.

Well, today went very well. I exercised and drank plenty of water.

I think the chatting with Nicki helped to remind me why I want and need to lose this weight.

I would so love to have another child. I really don't want to get pregnant at this weight.

When I had my daughter (16), I was this heavy when I gave birth to her. Could you imagine me getting pregnant at this weight? Oh the horror...<img src="http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/36/36_1_7.gif" alt="SmileyCentral.com" border="0"><img border="0" src="http://plugin.smileycentral.com/http%253A%252F%252Fimgfarm%252Ecom%252Fimages%252Fnocache%252Ftr%252Ffw%252Fsmiley%252Fsocial%252Egif%253Fi%253D36%252F36_1_7/image.gif">

I know if I stay on track and don't deviate from the plan i'll lose the weight and i'll actually lose it quickly. I just have to remind myself of that and why I want to lose this weight when I'm feeling tempted.
God Bless,
Laura

Fabulous Friday!!

Postby HappyHomeMaker » June 22nd, 2007, 12:15 pm

Today was a beautiful day here in NY. The weather almost felt like a cool Autumn Day. I love the Fall , It's my favorite time of the year.

I stayed on my plan, nothing to complain of. I'm feeling good and even with the exercising, I'm not feeling too hungry.

Today I had my nephew with me, he's 9 years old. He loves to cook, So I taught him how to make bread with fresh milled flour. He liked the idea of milling the wheat berries. He really liked making butter. I like to make homemade butter for my hubby. He has high blood pressure and I make it with Sea Salt.

I have to say spending the day with him made me realize how much I would really love another child...or two...or three<img <img border="0" src="http://plugin.smileycentral.com/http%253A%252F%252Fimgfarm%252Ecom%252Fimages%252Fnocache%252Ftr%252Ffw%252Fsmiley%252Fsocial%252Egif%253Fi%253D4%252F4_12_12/image.gif">

It was so nice having a helper in the kitchen. My two are older with lives of their own...One would think spending the day with him, would be great birthcontrol. I guess I'm a sucker for punishment. I love being a mom. I am very blessed. This is the motivation keeping on my plan. I really want to get pregnant...but not at this weight!!

So anyone reading this, remember this when I fall off the wagon. You can kick me in the tail , metaphorically, when I need it. <img src="http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_1_219.gif" alt="SmileyCentral.com" border="0"><img border="0" src="http://plugin.smileycentral.com/http%253A%252F%252Fimgfarm%252Ecom%252Fimages%252Fnocache%252Ftr%252Ffw%252Fsmiley%252Fsocial%252Egif%253Fi%253D4%252F4_1_219/image.gif">

I'm going to try to get in some exercise. Lets see if I find the time. All in all, I did great today. All that baking and I didn't eat thing!!
God Bless,
Laura

HAPPY, (the name so fits you!)
I'm finally jumping into your journal, and boy, have you had some wild rides!
I'm so proud of the way you are handling all the stress, etc.
You have such a great attitude, I've no doubt you are going to make it all the way...
It sometimes gets scary when we think ahead too far, but the little words I left on another journal today perhaps can help you through.

"If I don't take the first bite off plan, I will be okay"
It works in any situation you happen to find yourself.
Just be prepared and carry that extra supplement or bar, no panic, just enjoy the feeling of staying in control!

I came over to tell you that your avatar is lovely. I'm glad to hear you are beginning some exercise.
You are doing a lot of extra work, too, so babe, if you feel hungry an extra supplement will not cause you to gain weight.
Better that, than going off program.
You have a wonderful hubby and family. I love that you are all doing some ministry in some way.
How blessed you are and how blessed they are to have you!
You are getting healthy and fit for them and for yourself to better serve the Lord.
WTG!

Hello all,

well, Lizbette, you are the sweetest and most encouraging person I've met so far. Thank you so much for your words of wisdom.

Today went great! My nephew went home and now i'm relaxing. I had a great time with him, stuck to my Medifast plan, and got some baking done. All in all, a very productive day.

Tomorrow I have another long day, but a good one.

I'm off to treat myself to a hot, bubble bath. I'm trying to find different ways to "treat" myself, other then food.
God Bless,
Laura

I do that too. When I first started and the difference was so dramatic, my husband bought me some jewelry. Now I go to the salon perhaps a bit more often that most to get my hair cut and color changed. I felt like as I was changing my hair should morph too!

Thanks for all the encouragement!! It's so nice to log on and see such nice messages. :D

Today is going well. I'm getting the house ready for this evening. We are having a Worship night at our home. This is to send my daughter and her friend off on their mission trip to Italy/Spain. We are going to be praying and singing. There will also be alot of deserts!! I'm not big on sweets, so I'm not too worried. If it were steaks...then there'd be some worrying to do. :)

Tomorrow we are driving back to JFK for them to group up with the rest of the missionaries and then they are flying out of JFK and heading straight for Italy.

Tomorrow is going to be stressful. My hubby is doing the driving so , that won't be a problem. Just sending her off for a month makes me sad. I know that she is in God's hands and doing HIS work. I'm so proud of her, but I'm not ready to "Let-go". It seems like yesterday I was changing her diaper and now shes flying out of the country. I never thought I'd go through that "empty nest" syndrome...but I am.
This is my last year I get to home school her. She is off to the Honors Academy the following year. She'll be gone for a year!! Down in Texas...maybe we could move there? hmmm? I guess that would be crazy.

Oh well, Keep me in your prayers.
God Bless,
Laura
