Thanks all, it has been a remarkable journey these first 5 weeks! So much has changed in my life! I feel wonderful, I can walk, I can sit without pain, I don't need assistance to get up from a chair any more, I can sit on my sofa again, etc, etc, etc.

I am so glad I found MF and all of YOU who help me get through each day without hunger as I wave bye-bye to my fat! LW compared it to 160 sticks of butter or something like that, and that's just how I feel - like melting butter - but in my case, there's a little spidey inside!

How are you doing?

Postby Aussiegirl » January 19th, 2005, 12:20 am

Dear Gerald,
I am knew to this site (not actually a member yet, but will join in a minute). I'm longing to know how you are going after reading your personal story of last year. Hope things are going well for you. I am about to start my journey next week, 135kgs, (270pounds?), and am scared that I won't be able to last 12 weeks on shakes.
Anyway, my thoughts are with you,
Gabby

Welcome, Gabby ~

There are a number of us that have survived very nicely on shakes only for a long time. I had the pleasure of meeting Gerald last week and ExplorThis - another shaker dude!

Hi Gerald
I just got done reading your story and the rest of your posts. I'm glad to here your doing so good. :cleader:
I'm proud of you.
Today is my first day on MF. Your story is going to help me out a lot.
Thank you so much. And keep up the good work.
I'll be looking for more of your posts.

PS: Your my Inspiration.

I have to go to a party this weekend. I didn't know if I was going to be able to stay on MF. After reading everything you had to say, I got the point. This week is going to be a lot easier with caring people like yourself helping me.

Thank you again
