I can remember so well i had the SAME mindset as you when i "finally" reached my goal weight. I went plum into eating what i wanted, when i wanted, and how i wanted, totally IGNORING the transition part...that is exactly why i am here now...but i swore to myself, if i EVVVVVVER get to goal weight again, i will NEVER NOT do the "transition" to help ease me back into eating foods that would have more calories...so Tawanda you keep up the "great" work you're doing..you are on your way girl :-P and people ARE gonna start noticing and WILL tell'ya too!!!...that's the way it happened for me.

Love,
Chynna

Tawanda - what a great mindset. You are doing a great job. I used to think the same way on every diet - when it's over with I will be able to eat whatever I want. This program is helping me to realize that I can no longer go back to that way of eating or thinking. Thanks for sharing your experiences with us - you are inspiring.

Today begins my 6th week on MF. As of this morning I'm down 18#. Still amazes me how the weight is steadily coming off.

Best wishes that everyone will have an 'easy to stay compliant' day.

Thanks Biki!

I'm tired, worked outside this afternoon with DH and it just sucked all of my oomph right out of me. ;) I've got dinner in the oven and am sipping on my water. All I want to do is melt into my easy chair and not move until it is bedtime. ;)

Hope it was a compliant and good day for everyone.

Another night chasing elusive sleep. :(

Scale showed the .5 lost 'again'. Oh well.

Hope it is a good day for all.

Before you came aboard I had huge sleep issues that are thankfully gone away most of the time. It was so frequent they called 4 in the morning Biki o'clock. So there is hope. I still get up during the night but get back to sleep pretty soon. When I DO get up at 4, I have had 8 hours of sleep. I hope it is the same with you.

Biki, I remember reading that you've had trouble sleeping and have also read the reference to Biki o'clock.....it is miserable to awaken in the wee hours and know that 'this is it, I'm 100% awake' . My problem is my 'age' I think. ;) Middle aged woman often = sleepless nights. Last night it was coughing that kept me awake. I just couldn't seem to quit coughing. I finally spent the night in my recliner, sitting pretty upright--fairly uncomfortable but at least I slept for part of the night.

Maybe I can blame sleep problems on how 'rough' I look most days?? ;) Nah? Oh well, worth a try.

Glad you are getting more and better sleep. Hope it continues that way for you.

I too, have sleep issues. I blame my age.

Biki, the reason I thought it was age related is because others around my age (50) mention they are also having a rough time staying asleep. I usually can fall asleep pretty quickly, but will sometimes awaken 3 times during a 7 hour period. When I awaken, I'm wide awake. It is like someone turns a switch that is either 'asleep' or 'awake', none of this wake up and still think you can fall back to sleep stuff. ;) Often I just give up at 2:30 or 3:30 instead of tossing and turning.

Jo, you, too? :? It is the pits.

Tawanda,
I really do not know if it is your age. Give you a example. When I am full fledge Medifast I wake up in the middle of the night. I feel that I just have more energy. I am 34 and when I tell you that I can sleep I can sleep. I went off program this weekend And I slept 10 Hours each day. When I am on medifast I sleep about 6-7. Sometimes if I am real busy through out the day I might be able to get 8 hours. I just think your body has all this new energy. I use to goto bed at 10 pm everynight now I stay up until 11 and I am still wide awake.
