OBVIOUSLY the lack of fat in my diet caused me to be LOOPY when I last posted!!! :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao:

I dunno what I was thinking but that's not gonna work for me, LOL. I need immediate feedback -- even if it sucks :)

So, yeah, that scale fairy chick was here this morning for the first time since last Friday --- since LAST FRIDAY -- and she only took away .2....helloooooooooo WTH is up with that??!!?? Man, I wanted to scream

So tomorrow is my weekly WI and I'm pretty much sure its gonna stink.....what's going on with my body??? Why can't it just let go of the fat we dont need? <sigh> :x :x grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

OK, here's my positive spin: It wasn't a gain  .

Yeah, I have a bad attitude.....get over it - LOL

Funny, i was JUST thinking this same thing this morning. What did i tell ya in my post above about that lil scale fairy? Well the scale fairy giveth (a weight loss) and the scale fairy taketh away (that SAME weight loss)! :x It's really getting on my nerves. I think now i am weighing out of habit. I'm going to try to cut down to weighing maybe 3 days of the week. My clothes are fitting better so hopefully i can focus on that instead of a scale number.

OMGosh, that is too funny! U still have the kool aid man! Well actually, i did pretty good this morning, i DID NOT step on the scale. Although i was slightly tempted, i used the method i used when OP before...I drank a bunch of water before i got out of bed. When i do that, the scale # means absolutely nothing to me. Hopefully, my method works. I will continue to do this until Sunday morning roll call. Then again, since i am anal and have OCD tendencies, it upsets me a little bit that the calendar on the software i use will be missing weights for a few days :D . It just doesn't look right. Ok, I know i have issues  If my method works during weight loss, i definitely WILL go back to daily weighing during maintenance. Since there will be a larger variance in food intake, I need it to monitor. As long as i am OP, it should be pretty insignificant since my L&Gs are pretty consistent. Actually, i am about to cash my reality check and admit that i am a scale w**** (most of you know what that is) so i will probably not make it past this week without weighing daily. Oh well, at least i am putting forth the effort!

SIDEBAR: isn't it wonderful to know you can hijack a true friend's journal and it's never a problem??? :devious: :devious: :devious:

Oh yeah, i also need to mention that when using my method last time, i think it lasted LESS than a week  8)

I opened my journal, saw the kool aid dude and nearly pee'd my pants laughing before I even read the posts!!! LMAO That was HYSTERICAL Katie -- and OH SO TRUE!!

You know, OC, I gotta hand it to you, you win the no weighing contest! When I woke up the morning after that post I just weighed automatically and then realized what I'd done - whoops! I will admit, I do need that immediate feedback. I dont think I can go a week -- here's how I rationalize it (hee hee) -- Sometimes I am down and all of the sudden for no good reason the scale jumps a few pounds (like last weekend). Had I not been weighing on a daily basis that 2 pound gain would have felt real to me and I would have been trying to figure out where I had gone wrong.......that's my story and I'm sticking to it :0......I figure once in maintenance I'll want to weigh every day anyway so I can spot gains before I need a new pants size :)

Here's to ya girls, thanks for the much needed laugh this morning  !!

OK, so today is my official weekly WI. I'm down .8 ..... big deal! LOL I'm miffed about it, but what's a girl to do? I'm just plain losing slower this go round -- guess that'll teach me to stick to it till the end and NEVER EVER EVER have a need to eat dirt again!!!

My man is on day 5 and get this... he isn't weighing, at all!  Go figure!! LOL He's just going by pants size....to each his own, right?

So I am hoping next week is better. One low week I can handle but multiple weeks will make me wanna pull out my hair

Good luck to all for an OP weekend!!!!!!

Ok, so does that mean that we have affected our metabolism by all the restarts over the years? Or could it be age? ;) :?: :?: I'm not wishing it on you BUT i need you to have a couple of low weeks so i can play catch up. The great part (for you) is that historically, you NEVER have back to back low weeks. Well, historically, i didn't either  It seems like almost a month ago i said "Onederland is so close" and well, Onderland is STILL close (but no friggin' cigar). Maybe it's just something in the air. Yeah, THAT'S what it is.

He's not weighing? WOW! Yup, for each his/her own. Did he even get a starting weight? Some things just aren't as important to those from Mars. Those of us from Venus can be so obsessive with things. Good for him for reaching day 5!

  uhmmmm, we're you tryin to make me feel better or worse???? ;) You crack me up!!! I dunno but that maybe its a combo of crappy metabolism after all these losing attempts in addition to age .... <sigh>

NOPE & NOPE! He doesn't even own a scale! Whereby as a comparision, I had to purchase one a few years ago that measures in 10th's - LOL! He believes he knows roughly what he weighs but he could care less about the number on the scale! It's all about how his clothes fit......and that's prolly a good thing cause he had Gumbo for lunch yesterday and then asked me if it was OP or if he'd goofed up ...... :) Gotta love him! :)

Once again, you guys have brought some much needed comic relief into my life! I keep trying to break our scale, I have dropped all sorts of things hoping to shatter it, but it just keeps on sticking.....I have managed to only weight two times a day now.
