Sunday Morning Roll Call March 19, 2006

Join our weekly (Sunday) weigh in.

Postby Lizabette » March 19th, 2006, 9:20 am

AINT MEDIFAST WUNNERFUL!

I feel great this morning, even though the scale gave me just barely under one pound shy of 26 pounds this week....but my clothes are telling me different.

Getting dressed for church is now a lot happier. Even with about 35 pounds more to go, just think about how I will feel then. I am considering posting a 25 pound loss picture before long!

You know, I believe our bodies are a lot wiser than we are. My skin is staying firm with the loss of weight --- 'course I try to keep things creamed up and do our 30-40 minute walk most days besides staying compliant.

I believe I am experience one of those 'plateaus" we talk about. That's where we stay on level ground while preparing to tackle the hill again.

WOW, congratulations to those with the wonderful losses, and a word to those who maintained or even gained. Now is not the time to throw it in, but to strive even more passionately to reach to goal.
:whoohoo: to all of you!

Hey Gina, I was feeling pretty bad about my little weight loss until your post. I gained 2lbs. this week, and I can't blame it of TOM (had all my parts removed many yrs. ago). But, got on the scale this morning and was down 1.5 lbs. since last Sunday.

And you are right, the scale will start moving again.

Congratulations, everyone! (Wow, Di, 9.5 lbs with a migraine thrown into the mix? You rock!)

I'm down 2.8 lbs this week - my body seems to be a little confused about whether or not TOM actually feels like showing up, so I've been in a perpetual state of PMS for about the last week and a half. Fun, fun fun. (Any of you other ladies ever have issues with regularity whilst medifasting?) Anyhow, that seems to have slowed me down a wee bit, but a loss is a loss, and I'll take it! That's a total of 34.8 lbs since starting. Oh, and I found out that being able to wear that size 20 skirt wasn't a fluke, because I dug out some fairly fitted size 20 slacks, and they fit!!

I'm down 16.5 so far. I managed to gain two pounds since yesterday, which is really annoying. I have no clue how that can happen, especially since I am a guy (no TOM problems). I hope it is just something to do with water, but it's pretty frustrating, since I was so happy about almost being at 20 pounds yesterday :(

Does anyone have any idea how I could gain two pounds in one day?

WOW!! You guys ROCK!!! I am always amazed at the losses on this board. I am down 1.4 pounds this week. I am just 0.6 pounds from the 20 pound club. It is slowly, slowly, slowly but surely getting there!!
Congrats to all the losers! Hang in there! Have a fantastic week.

GREAT link. Thanks for posting it!

I've been struggling with my scale readouts this week too. I was 100% compliant but check it out:

Some morning reads:
3/09 - 222.5
3/10 - 216.5
3/11 - 217.5
3/12 - 217
3/13 - 217
3/14 - 219 (argh!)
3/15 - 218
3/16 - 216.5

Currently I am at 220 this morning because I got stupid and ate off-plan foods, pretty much because I got fed up with the scale! How dumb is that?! (Very, I know.... sigh!) But I am back on track now! :)

All I can think in analyzing my results is: too much salt. I was doing stir-fries with soy sauce and I think I retained water some days... that along with not getting in the extra 8 daily cups of water did me in. Grrrr!

Onwards and downwards, my MF buddies! I am not deterred!

Best of luck to all you losers! (And great advice Lizabette!)

I've joined the 10# club this week! Yea! :D

I wore a skirt to church this morning that I haven't worn in years. I had to pull it over my head since it wouldn't go over my rear, but hey, my waist is coming back! It's always been much smaller than my hips!

Congrats on all your losses as well!

Hey gang! So happy so see all this losin' goin' on! :D

We were away in the city this weekend (just love going to the city). Anyway, I wasn't home to weigh first thing this morning, so I did it just as soon as I got home. Lost 2 pounds this week. That's 66 total in 5 months. Loving Medifast and my new life more and more every day.

Have a great week everyone. Keep on Medifastin!

Congrats to all the losers and for the high motivation for those of us who had less than stellar weeks. I had a pretty low-key week and lost 3 lbs putting me at 248 and a total of 65lbs lost since Jan 1. I'm changing jobs this week and my friends at the old place had a happy hour for me on Thursday and I misbehaved a bit. Not enough to do serious damage but enough to knock me back a couple days. All is well and I'm back into ketosis and back on track. I'd like to make the 70lb club for next week's roll call... we'll all see if i can do it.

Have a great week and keep shaking !!!!
