Good morning, Ladies-

I lost 4 lbs. for a total of 41. Joined the 40# Club!

Had some Chinese food last night to celebrate. I tried to stay "lean" but I'm sure some carbs. snuck in. Maybe an aggressive week of "woking" my dog will shed the extra calories?

Have a great week, all!

Good morning all you Losers........I lost only one lb. last week for a total of 56 lbs. I am having a bit of a difficult time staying true to the program, not necessarily eating non-permitted foods but just not drinking shakes on time, not enough water, and at times not even having all my supplements. As I have said before, this program is 90% mental. If you can't keep your mind on your goal, other things will take control. I will keep chugging and hope that I get myself in gear. Hope everyone has a good week and we all continue our losses. Maggie

Hi everybody,

Boy we have some BIG LOSERS out there this week. I lost 5# this week. I was excited to see 2-1-9. A milestone for me. And next week I'll be in the 30# club. This is such a good program. I love it.

Happy shakin everybody. I'm at work but wanted to log in my weight. I'll catch up on the weekend postings later.

Have a good day,

Hi, Everyone!

You are all doing so well! :cleader:

Maggie, there are weeks like that. I know. I'm having one myself. I am up a bit and not happy  about it. I know why. I know what to do. Now I just need to do it. ;)

Terry and I attended a regional Take Shape For Life meeting all day Saturday. There were other Health Advisors in attendance and some said they had gotten a bit complacent over the winter and were going to get back on the program for a few weeks. Winters here in the northwest are wet and dark.

I leave for work in the dark and return in the dark. It has been very blustery and rainy all winter and therefore, I haven't been walking or working in the yard and I can certainly tell because I am feeling "fluffy."

When the college moved in December, we have not been able to use the gym for working out and that has increased my fluffiness somewhat.

Once a person gets to their goal weight they can become overly confident if they don't watch their food intake carefully. I weigh every day and for the most part, I do very well maintaining my weight. We have had a number of foody events lately and while I am very careful about what I choose to eat, I have been eating larger portions than what I know is right for my body. :x

Exercise is an important part of maintenance and our treadmill has not been easy to use lately as Terry had stacked a pile of book boxes on it. I know, I know...it IS an excuse! I could have lifted off those book boxes AND strengthened my arms at the same time, eh? :weightlift:

When you reach your goal weight, go through transition and begin maintenance, life happens. :hammerhead:

For many of us, watching what we put into our mouth is a LIFE-LONG battle. Every day we must choose what goes in, how much goes in and what type of foods we put in the old gullet. :bib:

Take  heart, I will NEVER have to go through the BIG weight loss phase ever again, because I know what to do and how to do it. When life happens and those few pounds creep back, just a week or so on the weight loss program and they are outta here!

Now don't you dare begin to think that Leopard Woman is no longer FABULOUS, because that just is not true - I remain FABULOUS, Folks - I am just needing to get off those few pounds and tighten up a bit - summer's coming! Shorts Season is on its weigh!

OK Leopard WOMAN ---

Don't let me down now -- I still have sooo far to go.... in honor of you when I was out Saturday I was in a store that was having a sale and I bought a silky , zip-front spring jacket in a size 1X - haven't been there in years --- and because it was a $50.00 jacket for $9.99 I bought it in your honor ---- just knowing that I would get into it sooner rather than later.... I was thinking with a black tank top and black jeans --- HOT _HOT _ HOT---see how you inspire me -DON"T FAIL YOURSELF (or me either) NOW!!!!

I'm thinking the East Coast needs a pseudo-leopard woman :yippee: and I'm applying for the job!!!!!!

WE WILL do this together!!!!!! :stroll:
