Congratulations everyone! Well - only 1 lb for me this week... but 35 lbs total - and, I am half way to my goal!

Like Jeanette, I am really enjoying the positive feedback that I receive on a daily basis now. (my secret goal is to get at least one comment on my weight loss a day!) Oh, to live for the positive feedback.....

The inches are coming off - the sizes are going down..... life is good! :yippee:

Hi Ladies-

After two weeks off  I've lost 4 additional pounds for a grand total of 45 lbs.

Are any other men posting losses or Medifasting???

Hi Gang,
I hate to be the wet blanket of the group ....... but I've had a very difficult week. My Dad had a total knee replacement Monday, and I've been at Mom and Dad's for the last 3 days helping take of him, and will be here for a few more days. Dad is doing well, but the old family dynamic is triggering all my food impulses and I have gone off the program in little and big ways. Today I have been better, but not perfect. And added to that is the 'monthly affliction'.

Oh.... I also bought a new scale because I had one of those ones with the huge dial on it and I couldn't read it very accurately, and the dreaded thing happened .... this scale says I'm 5.5 pounds heavier than the old scale. Sooooooo, that's depressing too, and I've faced the fact that I have to adjust all my numbers up 5.5 pounds.

Anyway, I am up 1.5 pounds this week. Actually for sliding off the program as I have, I'm thankful it's only that much, but it's still disheartening and I'm struggling with disappointment and negativity.

Gonna try and break out of it this week and get my good momentum back (and stay sane within the confines of my parents home).

SO Glad to hear of everyone else's success, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK GANG!

Carrie

Hey guys! It sounds like everyone is doing really fabulously and some of you are so close to goal...congratulations! This is my first week and I didn't have an awe-inspiring loss as some do, but I lost 6 pounds and that is more than I would have lost if I hadn't started Medifast. Thank you all for the terrific support and positive feedback and here's to another week (hopefully better)!

Carrie
Dont be too hard on yourself....your taking care of your family that is most important!! just try and get yourself back on track..dont think about yesterday..and going off the program...just think about making tommorrow a new day..a new beginning!! I am the same way when I visit my parents...its like an old "binge" place for me..I used to love to eat all my moms goodies she had stashed around the house...its hard to go back to places where we used to use food for comfort.

youll get back on track .... we are here for ya.. ;)
