Sunday Morning Roll Call, July 25, 2004

Hi everyone!

I lost 6 pounds this week. I'm at 200. 1 pound away from my first goal!

I saw Cyrano de Bergerac at the Shakespeare Theater in DC yesterday with a few friends. I brought a digital camera to catch us together since two of them are moving to North Carolina soon. Anyway, I've been feeling skinny what with none of my clothes fitting, etc. I've been telling myself that 165 may or may not happen because I feel pretty darn good right now. Well, I saw the pictures..... Yikes! I'm definitely not done yet. I lose 50 pounds and I still look like that?! What must have I looked like before?! I'm not crazy depressed about it, just shocked that I still look huge. I guess I needed it to keep chugging along.

Hi all,
I'm so happy right now.

Weighed in at 179.5 today. 30.5 pounds lost. I've lost track of how long I've been on the plan but I started 6/21.

Back from vacation and NO GAIN!!! Holding steady at 212 and back on plan today!!!!

Good morning everyone :).

Congrats on your losses and maintaining :)! Nice rebound Kat, you got right back on track and had a great week--Yay for you :thumbsup:!

I'm down 5lbs, not quite for the full week, which will be on Tuesday. This brings my total loss to 21lbs in 12 day--unbelievable to me. I was freaked out yesterday, not even trusting my scale (which is a good scale--the WW digital, glass-panel chrome scale). So, I went to my gym yesterday to weigh on the scale there, which is a mechanical beam scale like the ones used in doctor's offices, because I wasn't believing my eyes. So, I get there and I actually weigh two pounds less on the scale there! But, I'm sticking with the higher weight of my scale at home since this is the one that I originally weighed in on.

Anyways, I'm happy. My expectations have far been exceeded, and I couldn't have scripted a better start :)!

Keep up the good work everybody :goteam:!

Hi,

That is great for everyone. I am new on 4th day. I did Medifast before but never went to ideal weight.

Sheryl, are you doing modified or full fast?

Hi Lantana,

Congrats on making it thru Day 4 :). Day 3 was a doozy for me!

As for the plan I'm following, I'm doing the full fast (shakes, fruit punch, soups, and bars--I just added bars two days ago since I'm becoming more physically active again).

Are you doing the full or modified plan? I read one of your other posts and see that you did Medifast before, so you know what expect. I hope the rest of your week is good--let us know how you are doing :).

Day before I start

I have done medifast very unsuccessfully for the past month. :cry:
I am joining this community in an effort to GET ON TRACK AND STOP BINGING!

This morning I weighed in at 172

Goal weight 135

Fresh start tomorrow.
Day one...here I come

Wellllll...I finally broke that 190 plateau. Seemed like I was there forever. Weighed Sunday morning and I was 186. My significant other has been told he has to lose some weight because his blood pressure is up. So now, although he won't go on Medifast, he is eating a little more responsibly and that helps me with planning and buying food for dinners. He even started eating my ice pops instead of ice cream and had one of my oatmeal/raisin bars in the movies yesterday instead of those awful pretzels. Hope everyone else had a losing week!
