Food journal update: still ok

I got bifocal contacts this week. I've never had contacts before, so it's a bit of a struggle getting them in and out. My eyes feel like sandpaper. But they feel better than they did yesterday. I'm not sure it's all worth it. I'm just tired of the glasses.

Food journal update: Doing ok. Still not a habit....haven't missed a day, though.

Well, I tore a contact already, grrrrrr. I don't even know what happened, I just picked it up and half stayed in my palm. Are they really that fragile? sheeez.

This office move is really stressing me out. I truly hate being unsettled. I'm sure that everything will work out and there will be a place for everything, but I wake up nights thinking of trivial things....where to store the shredder.....where to put the postage meter, the fax machine, server, etc. etc......and then I get wide awake and can't go back to sleep. I was up for good at 4:30 this morning. I will be so happy when it's all done!

Don't understand why, I'm in the middle of a plateau, but the slacks I bought for work last week were hanging on me today.....and I've been trying to buy things a little on the tight side, too! Gotta find me a taylor to resize some o' this stuff, but will wait until I reach goal for that.

My autoship should go out on Thursday.....wow! this month went fast.

Food journal update: Doing ok, but still have to force it. I wonder when it will become a habit.

I finally got off of the plateau and have lost 2 pounds in 2 days....12 from goal, but who's counting, lol.

I've decided that I really need to up my exercise a bit. Right now, I go to curves 2-3 times per week. I try to go 3, but with everything going on, it's easy to find an excuse. I do other things, too, but not in any organized fashion, sooooooo, starting now I will add 2-3 miles on the treadmill (or outside walk) 2-3 times per week on the days I don't go to curves.

There's no way I will EVER be into exercise like Robin is, but I do think I need to get a little more serious about it before transition and maintenance force the issue.

All of a sudden, during my plateau, I started noticing more bones. My cheek bones are protruding....bye bye round face for good, my hip bones and knees, too.....it's wierd. I'm used to being soft everywhere.

Ummm, I never thought I'd be this into it, either!! I think part of it is I found a way to make it more goal-oriented, so I have something specific to work toward and an easy way to see progress. Which seems to be what works for me.

And congrats on breaking the plateau!!

I'm just sayin'......my hobbies are all sit down hobbies. I sew, read, knit....well, you get the picture. I have always disliked strenuous activity. And I don't like to sweat and I don't like to be cold or wet, etc. etc......I'm such a wimp. My husband just shakes his head when I want to drive 2 blocks because it's raining and I might get wet.

And it's like I want to exercise...in my mind, but my body says naw, let's just sit here and read. It's much cozier.

I know I have to get off my butt and curves has helped, but it's such a struggle. Goals or not, I'm just not into it like I know I need to be.

Just after I posted my last post, I did go and do 25 minutes on the treadmill. Didn't stroll, kicked it up a notch. It did feel good. Now, I'm all set to curl up with a good book, lol.

Jo.. I'm like you. I really dislike exercise and sweat. Except pilates for some reason.. I'll tell you it really surprises me that months later I'm still going multiple times a week!

So maybe you just need to find the exercise you enjoy whatever it is. There's probably something out there. I heard of a new thing called NIA that sounds kind of interesting. I'd try it if they had more than one class once a week in my area.

Food journal update: Haven't missed a day, but I'm wondering if it'll ever be routine.

146 this morning.....11 more to go. This is getting serious!

All of a sudden, shirts look much better tucked in.

Almost made a client faint. uhhh, she hasn't seen me for awhile, hehe.

As of today, I’ve been on Medifast for one year. That’s 365 Medifast bars, approximately 550 Medifast RTD’s. 500 Medifast Dutch chocolate shakes, 70 bowls of Medifast Chicken & Wild Rice soup, and 500 or so bowls of Medifast oatmeal. Funny thing is I’m not tired of Medifast. This is my life. I don’t see a whole lot changing when I reach my goal aside from a treat now and then…..if I want it.

I’m just so happy that I swallowed my pride and took this step.
