The cruise mention made me think of something.
I still remember that when you were in the weight loss phase (and I was too...the first time, eek!).

I remember being FLABBERGASTED that you made it through an entire cruise staying compliant, I didn't think that was physically possible! To just DEFY the buffet the way you did, awe-inspiring...talk about eyes on the prize. I wanted to get you a medal or a trophy and to you, it was just part of the plan, part of the program, no deviations...just do it!

By doing that, you have NO IDEA how much you motivated me at that point...when I was playing those "well, just a bite, I'm traveling" days...I heard "cruise" and "Jo" on an above post and I couldn't help think of that!

Thanks again for being you!

It is sunday here and I already thought about cheating. Then I read this post that Pam wrote. JUST DO IT. And it is so true. I just need to bite the bullet and do it. Thanks JO for being there. Hope you are having a great Sunday.

Sooooo, I've got you two under my spell, eh? I'm stirring my potion in a cauldron that I got at Goodwill for ten bucks. Is it working? hehehe

On the home front: I'm sitting here relaxing and watching a sugar competition on the food channel! HA! Who knew you could do all that with sugar. It never lasted around here long enough to make anything but fat (on me), but some of the competitors are really talented and the sculptures are beautiful.

I ate a sandwich for dinner. I almost never eat sandwiches, but hubbie made something fancy, so I decided to try it. Though I'm sure it was enough calories, it wasn't enough to fill me up and now I'm glad we don't have any junk food around because I prolly would have started picking. As it is, I'm waiting for my choco pudding to freeze. I'll have that before bed and it will be enough. Some days are easier than others.

We went to a party last night. Many chances to indulge, but I didn't even want to. That comfort zone is here and I'm not craving sweets at all. Yay

In the event it doesn't, I'm sure you can find a brand new all-clad cauldron at William Sonoma for a much higher price! <img src="http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/8/8_1_231.gif" alt="SmileyCentral.com" border="0"> :roflmao: :roflmao:

I'm sure I'll never be able to convince anyone of the merits of having good cookware, nor do I have the time or energy to try, so let's move on to hand bags. If you carry a handbag, just think how much money you're wasting when a plastic grocery bag or better yet, a paper sack would do the job and you would be doing your part for the environment by recycling. I'm just sayin'.
