Hi Katie,

Yeah, I'm doing fine trying to keep my head above water. The trust returns came in from the bank, so I'm a little swamped this week. I enjoy doing trust returns, though, so the time goes fast.

The laundry got done yesterday (sort of) and I even baked bread, too! It's odd, I know, but when I'm really really busy at work, I just have this need to do something domestic that can't be squelched.

I don't know anything about weight watchers maintenance plan, but I have no interest in finding out because I'm comfortable with what I do now.

Whether or not you use supplements in maintenance is your own choice. A good maintenance plan will be a variety of foods and snacks. We all find what works for us.

Like my daddy always used to say: If it's ain't broke, don't fix it.

hey there ms Jo:+) ya know, i feel the same way you do about the MF supplements...even tho i'm maintaining i STILL use them, and not only because i feel i need to, but i really LIKE them, especially the chocolate mint bars and the RTD chocolate shakes, and i even ordered a box of the chocolate pudding this time to eat as a snack..can'ya tell i'ma choco'holic?? wanted to drop by and say hello :-P

Rare foods list:

Pasta
White Potatoes
Refined sugar
Pizza
Rice
Chinese
Waffles/Pancakes

Things I won't let cross my lips:

Deep fried anything

This list already exists in my mind. Just wanted to get it in writing so that I can add to it as needed. The only one recently added was sugar. The rest have been there all along.

Thanks for thinking of me Katie. Yes, it's brutal at work right now. I didn't even think of logging on here once today. It's just busy busy busy.

On the food front, things are going well. I don't have alot of time to think about food. I eat every 3 or so hours as always and still have 2 or 3 suppys per day. They are so convenient when time is tight. I recently tried the granola bars with the marshmallows for the first time this month and I love them! It pays to try new things once in a while.

Ok, so it seems to be rant week here. I feel obliged to add mine:

This is when I hate my job. I haven't had a haircut for 7 weeks, my grey is really beginning to pop out. I have wings that I can't tame. Here's the thing. I live in a rural area and unless I want a bouffant hairdo, I have to travel to the city to get my hair cut. And since I work 65-70 hours/week, I have to do it on Saturday afternoon or not do it at all. I had to cancel my appointment last week because we got a foot (yes, 12 inches) of snow. I rescheduled for this week and - SURPRISE! - ice storm! I look like a hag. I can't go next week because we had the bright idea to get Van Morrison tickets (YAY us!). So I'll go to NYC looking like a hag with a bouffant hairdo - WITH WINGS! no less. I haven't had my nails done in 3 weeks and the girl I like to go to is in - SURPRISE! - PITTSBURGH! So I'll have to go locally and they just don't get it right.

OK, there is suffering in the world, I get it, but, man! How much can a girl take?!?!?
