~Thanks for stoppin in Joy~

I was out and about early again this morning. Got the horses taken care of then had to take my brother into the laundry mat. His DL was suspended for no insurance so he can drive. I was able to get some good walking in yesterday evening and this morning in addition to the barn work. Looks like I will have to walk some more this eveing doing some stuff for my brother.

All in all I am feeling pretty good. My BWC insurance called me yesterday to let me know that they approved the surgery. Called the Dr and got it schedualed. The bad thing is that the soonest they can get me in is Dec. 21st. I am on a list in case of a cancelation, but with him it doesn't happen often. Looks like I am going to have an interesting Christmsa this year.

My daughter has been gone for a week at the FFA National Convention. I have really missed her so I will be glad to have her back home. Plus, having her home means less work in the barn for me ;) .

Hope everyone else is doing well.

Sounds like a very full day. 12/21 could be a very fine day for surgery because you will have enough time to have all the holiday preperations completed?

best wishes,

Since my daughter and I live with my parents I am not concerned much about the prep. My mom is pretty obsessive and everything has to be her way. I will at least have all shopping done! We don't have to travel anywhere to visit - everyone comes to our house so that will not be an issue. The only thing I am worried about is that after the first surgery, I was in the hospital for 3 days because we couldn't get the pain under control without the IV. I wouldn't want to be in uncontrolable pain OR be stuck in the hospital on Christmas. They had some time available on the 19th of Dec. Maybe that would be a little safer???

Another weekend another craft show. This one went so-so, I left with only $30 more than I started with, but $30 is $30. The crew running the show gave every vendor a coupon for a free lunch, complete with dessert. UGH! THEY HAD PEANUT BUTTER PIE people!!!! I am so glad I was clear on the other side of the building from the kitchen. It would have been so easy to just have that meal and nobody would have known but me. Then I realized that I cheer on everybody here and try to help out when someone falls off the plan. What a hypocrite I would have been to cheat like that.

I did have an NSV this morning. The jeans I had planned on wearing were huge on me so I had to find another pair. Those were the last of my “big jeans”, so now I am down to two pairs of jeans. I am hoping I can find some 20’s/18’s at Good Will or something to get me through, because I just can’t see the point in buying new clothes when I am
changing sizes so quickly right now.

Since I was at the show all day, I didn’t get out to walk. I did do my chores in the barn this morning at 5am and I did have to unload my craft stuff from my car (3 tables and many boxes of stuff) set up then tear down and load the car back up so I did get some exercise today (not as much as I would have liked, but the day isn’t over quite yet).

Here’s to hoping for a happy weigh in for everyone tomorrow....

Hi all,

I got my Photo Bucket albums done and wanted to share them with any one who might be interested. I have an album of my weight loss with Medifast and two of my daughter and her horses (one video and one photo). There is also an album that includes my handmade one of a kind purses and totes . The final album is my daughter in March of '06, her first year of snowboarding (you may find this one boring???)

Enjoy.

There are several "sub-albums" click on one of those and you will see what is in it. For example one is called "Bren & Medifast", another is called "Videos of Deanna and the horses" and another is called "FancyZippers Purses". Each album has photos in it.

I checked out your albums. Your daughter is beautiful. And do you make those purses? I really liked some of those...

Thanks for the comments everyone. Yes, I make the bags. Those are what I sell at craft shows. I charge $35 for the quilted ones (like Vera Bradley) and $20 for the reversible totes).

As you can tell I am pretty proud of the kid. She trained "Baby Scout" from a 3 month old all by herself, he is 3 years old now.

Are you on ETSY dot com? (Shameless plug for my son's employer. He's a software engineer for the site.)
