Thanks Biki, you are so sweet!
I just can't figure out why I feel so blue today. Even my walk in the beautiful sunshine with my buddy, Tucker didn't kick me out of this crappy mood . Even though I am on the Depo, and have TOM hasn't visited for over 8 years I still cycle, but I haven't had this kind of funk for a very long time. I think I might go brush some horses. They just have a way of lifting a mood.

I think I would be off my anti-depressant if I had horses! They are so wonderful and soft. I just love them! My friend breeds quarterhorses, so I occasionally get to brush them.

I hope things look up for you soon.
I am worth it!!!!!

My favorite quote about horses was said by Winston Churchill... "There is something about the outside of a horse that is good for the inside fo a man". It is so true! Even the ones that are typically grumpy seem to know when I need a friend and just stand and let me love on them. Some women love the scent of a man, others love roses... me - I love the scent of a horse. I am more relaxed now, but still kinda blue. Maybe I will just sleep it off.

So, I think I am dealing with an intestinal bacteria. Well, my doctor and I think I am. He is thinking possibly E Coli, but the tests will take a day or two. I am so completely miserable right now and I can't even think of getting too far from a restroom. UGH :nonono: This has really been going on since Saturday, but I was thinking it was my meds at first. When I adjusted those and that didn't help, I thought maybe the soy, but when I went to all whey and that didn't help I thougt I should see professional help.

So far, other than a tablespoon of REAL peanut butter (not low fat, sugar free or PB2 - THE REAL THING) I have remained OP. Actually, with the stomach cramps and other issues I won't get in to, I can't imagine even trying anything with more substance than being OP. This morning I did a small egg scrambler (with farm fresh eggs). That will count for some or most of a lean and green. I think other than that I will just have an extra MF meal instead of pushing it with more solids.

Ok, gotta "run" . Then get back to bed.

Gosh, you poor thing. This is giving me memories of my "Three Ballerinas" tea incident. I only lasted about 3 hours though but was scary!

Thanks Biki - No word yet from the lab. Probably won't get news until Monday!!!! YIKES. I wish he could have just started me on an antibiotic, but each bacteria takes a different one I guess. This just really bites!

Thanks Aries - right now I need all I can get. I was in so much pain earlier, that I almost made my daughter take me to the ER. If my hot shower and soak in the tub had not reduced the pain, I would have.

Today is my first non-compliant day since I started on Sept 21st. I had that egg scrambler, which I would consider a half of a lean and green, a choc bar, chick wild rice soup, 2 tbls peanut butter (the real stuff). another choc bar and I am considering trying something else here in a minute. I know this is not at all on plan, but well.... Oh Well.

I did call the lab and they told me that as soon as they have any answers that they will page my doc and let him know. So, maybe I don't have to wait until Monday - I hope.

Now, since I broke out in a major sweat last night I had to strip my bedding off the bed. What really stinks is that I don't have the engery or really the desire to put anything back on it. Me thinks I will be sleeping with a couple of blankets tonight. If I feel better, maybe the bed will get made in the morning.

Ok, so off to make a cappachino then into bed again.

Thanks Mike

Still feeling pretty icky, and now I am running a low grade fever along with everything else. Adding in a head ache and the fact that I have been too afraid to take my Fibromyalgia meds makes me a pretty miserable gal right now. I am back on plan so far today, though I had a bar for my third meal a little early. As far as my personal count of being compliant or not, I am not counting yesterday as being off. I am sure I took in way less than the 800-900 calories the plan is based on, and even with the peanut butter, I don't think I went beyond the fat and/or carb count either. Besides - everything leaves my body as fast as I get it in. Even the substance of the bar was rough on my stomach, so I am thinking of a 6 & 0 for today. That way I will get the nutrition without the pain the L & G will most likely cause.

Just being lazy today, curling up with a good book under a warm blanket. I check in here on my way back to my cozy spot after a run to the restroom.

Hope this ends soon.

Ugg, being sick sucks!! I hope you feel better soon!! I wouldn't worry too much about on plan/off plan etc! You'll get right back on the horse when you're well again - - being well is what matters!! You've hopped back on the horse before and you'll do it again.

Take care of YOU!

I guess I am feeling better this evening. Not good - but better. I had a 4-H banquet that I wasn't going to attend tonight, but decided too anyway. Staying away from the buffet tables was NOT an issue. Most of the people there have not seen me since before MF. This was the biggest reason I wanted to go - I really needed some uplifting. Everyone was shocked and many people came up to me to tell me how great I looked. Not bad considering what I feel like. Since I got myself all gussied up for the occasion (well as gussied up as one can get when they are struggling with being as sick as I am) I shot a few photos of myself.

All in all, I am feeling pretty pumped after my outing. I know I am losing pounds and inches, but having others notice (that don't know I am actually trying) is a big boost to the ego.

The shirt I am wearing is a normal XL from a local farm store. I worked there for a while and was NEVER able to purchase clothing for me because everything was always too small. I actually felt like I was wearing Gucci or something being able to wear that shirt. The pants are 20's, I haven't been in 20's since before my pregnancy 17 years ago.
