Well, I have behaved somewhat this week. I didn't exercise on Sunday, but I did on Monday and today. My husband and I celebrated our anniversary a day early by going to The Melting Pot and I was bad, but it was just one meal and for a good reason.

Thanks Joy! I did very well this week, until last night (always the weekends, always). My friend got married, had wine (lots of wine), some sweets, and a roll. Went to a birthday party after that (more wine) and then we went dancing. I love to dance and with all the problems my husband and I have had lately it was nice to go out and kind of drop my inhibitions and just have a good time. We ended up at IHOP and then my hubby got up and cooked eggs and bacon for breakfast. I had planned on working out today, but after a bottle of wine(maybe more) and the greasy late night/morning food bouncing around on the treadmill or running down the road is definitely not a good idea.

I don't think I could have faced a treadmill after wine and breakfast foods either. :)

It is nice to read that you & your husband had a nice time together.

Yep, I agree. Facing that treadmill would be one heck of an ordeal !! haha ... the last time I had a large portion to drink (maybe a bit over two years ago now ... ??) I got so sick that it basically cured me of even wanting a sip from then on. heh. Not a great experience !

Anyway, it sounds like things were looking up though before that, so here's to you gettin' right back into that mindset ! Cheers !

I haven't had that much to drink in a couple of years. Huge mistake!!! I am really really frustrated. I am sitting here watching "Biggest Loser", just finished eating my supper (small cheat with a roll), and still wanting to eat something. I know that on Thursday I will have a big meal and when I am out of school during Thanksgiving my son and I have food adventures. So, I don't need to want to eat badly today when I know I am going to be bad Wednesday and Thursday. GRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!! :x

So Thanksgiving is gone, and boy did I not behave at all. However, I did do another 5K on Saturday and ran it in a 32:18!!! I am so excited that I was able to do that and I only slowed to a walk for one minute. It is really hard for me to believe that in April it took me 57 minutes to go that far. Tomorrow I start seriously training for a half marathon. I will be running 4 times a week and cross training 2-if this doesn't take off these last pounds, nothing will.

Wow! Congratulations! I've only run one 5k and that was a very long time ago. I dream of running a half marathon but I'm not sure my knee would allow it (arthritis and constantly swollen). Good for you! I'd check with your health coach or ask in a question to Nancy here about extra supplements while training for the half marathon. You may need to add for the extra calories you'll be burning but I do not know for sure.

I probably should ask about adjusting or adding a supplement, but I will wait until I am famished. I have done sort of okay this week. I have worked out three times and will work out a double on Saturday (boot camp and a long run). I would like to say that things are better in my life, but I just feel like something is "off". My husband and I are still having problems and I don't know how to move forward to make things better. I have so many insecurities and they are ruining our relationship, but I don't think my fears are unfounded.

Well I ran for almost the entire 6 miles yesterday in the 34 degree weather after an hour and half of strength training. I took Tylenol yesterday and drank plenty of water so I am not too terribly sore. I think I am down 3 or 4 pounds this week. One scale says 3.5 and the other says 5 so I am not sure. I think I will go the MF center tomorrow morning and get the official weight. My only slip was the cookies on Friday, so I now know that as long as I stay on plan and work out the weight is going to come off. What a revelation!!! (not sure the sarcasm comes across in print).

Haven't been on here in awhile, been taking some time off for the holidays since Thursday. Haven't gained anything, but still feel bad for not being compliant. I will be on for the rest of this week and then take for Christmas Day, but thankfully we only have one gathering to go to. Last Saturday I did 7 miles without stopping to walk, don't get me wrong it is probably the slowest jog known to man, but I did it.
