Life Resolution!

Postby eskwyre » December 27th, 2006, 11:08 am

About a year ago a friend (who shall remain nameless) introduced me to MF and encouraged me to join her in the MF experience. I quickly fell off plan and had LOTS of excuses. Meanwhile, she is at goal and doing very well on maintenance. :woohoo:

Now, it is my turn. I am here for ME this time and serious about losing. I have decided that I will not make another new year's resolution. Instead, I am embracing a life resolution. I am claiming progress and success.

Each morning, I tell myself that this is the last time I will be this size, this is the last time this skirt will fit like this...It's working and I'm dedicated now. :weightlift:

Happy shaking

Good for you. Remember the paradox-it is a life long solution but we can only do it one day at a time. I am so happy for you!

Hi,
I like what you said about life resolution! Makes perfect sense!

I also fell of MF and re-started, that's the great thing about Medifast, it's always here when we're ready and I wasn't ready before...

Did the green eyed monster peek it's head up when people started reaching goal when I should have? Yes. Was I thrilled for them and beating myself up because I should have been there? Yes. Am I over it? Yes. I'm getting to goal this time. That's all there is to it.

I'm happier on MF, I'm healthier on MF and I just feel better on MF! I'm just happy you're going to start shakin' with us!

Good for you. Never look back and say "I should have". Now you are in the right frame of mind to do this for you. Good luck and welcome. This group is the best bunch of people. No matter what any of us do while on our weight loss journey, someone else before us has already been there, done that, and can help with an encouraging word. :cleader: :cleader:
