Hi Jenn, I just wanted to pop in and say that I hope you are finding what you need. And, I know that when you find it, you will also find your success on the program again.

One more thing... although dinner may be a toughie for you right now, look at the big picture and see how far you have come habit-wise overall. That's worth the attention.

Best wishes,
Karli

Jenn and JeepGirl,

I've been reading your posts since I started 10 days ago and I've found you both so inspirational. And I still do, even tho you're struggling. Look at the positives: You're still here, on the forum and on the program. That means you're seeking out sources of support that you haven't had in the past. You're writing about your struggles, which means that you're owning your food choices and trying to make better ones. You've learned that one meal, one hour, one day does not have to translate into failure.

This is an enormous undertaking that we're all doing.... we are busy women, most of us give a lot of care and energy to others in our lives, we work, we raise children, etc etc..... and we're setting on a course to change a huge part of our lives. Please don't be so hard on yourselves for struggling. You've both done so wonderfully and you're awesome women!!

Hope that today is easier than yesterday!

Kendra

Ok so when did my journal turn dirty  ;)

Karli thanks so much for chiming in, you have been doing so well. Your pictures the other day just really hit home for me. You look fantastic. I know (especially from being the parent of twins) that we cant compare two people but I was comparing my failure to your success. It really bothered me, I dont begrudge you your success but I am kicking myself over my lack there of.

Kendra, thanks for the pep talk hun. I'm glad there are new people here that look to us as inspiration as we did to the people before us. I just hope to not end up as a disappointment.

Sista, I'm here for you. *hugs*

Well I am happy to report that my 100% compliance yesterday paid off. I was down 4 pounds today putting me back to my 229 and 33 pounds lost. I was very proud of myself and can only thing "no where to go from here but down further" I just may still reach my birthday goal.

OH and Reg, the hot spot is always were people are eluding to sex. Ever notice that? We're all pervs at heart.

I understand what you mean, but if you haven't given up you haven't failed because you are not done yet. To me "failed" means there is only that option, and that's just not the case. You have already proven it by your decisions since then. Also, 100% compliance 100% of the time does not necessarily mean "success" if a person is still afraid to eat and face food (which we all have to do at some point anyway), imnsho.

It's about finding freedom both physically and mentally, and you are achieving that by chisiling away at the issues involved with your individual journey... even if it feels like work sometimes.
