Sounds great! Anyplace sunny and warm :)!

I can't wait until I can go on amusement park rides again! This has been one of things that I have wanted to do but haven't been able to because of my size :(.

My vote is for sun and fun :D!

My vote would have to be for next spring, say around Memorial Day weekend? I want to be able to ride some rides too, darnit! :puke:

We could do DisneyWorld or Universal or whatever, or make it a Six-Flags in the middle of the country so those on the coasts could get there without spending a bundle. :drive:

I'm willing to help organize, and research group packages. In fact, I happen to know a travel agent...hm!

PS Mike - I not only take PayPal, I take Visa, MC and AMEX too!

Oh, Gerald - we'll wait for you to fit in the rides!

We went to Six Flags recently (on our Baltimore trek) and it definitely was :puke: event for me.

I rode on three rides, had my neck jerked out of alignment, never opened my eyes once and nearing wiped out my capris, as I was not wearing Depends...

For some reason, 6 Flags didn't do it for me. I took a three hour nap on a park bench while Terry, Lisa and Jaime rode every coaster in the park!

Gerald,

I think you'll be okay at 6 Flags if you don't wear Capris...

I am really proud of you for being so candid about your health situation, about making a decision to take control of your health and for recognizing the value of the Forum.

Hey LW, what are you trying to do, make me choke on my shake? Me...in Capri pants!?! I'd have to do a whole lot of :guzzle: first!

I  ya, Man!

It is SO hot here this week  and I am thankful that I can wear cooler clothing items this summer.

We do not have AC...and for some reason, Terry and Unca do not stand behind my leopardy print office chair in their animal print loin cloths fanning the great LW. What's with them anyway?

I'm gonna slug down another bottle of cool water, have a serving of Maple & Brown Sugar oatmeal (I know, I know...I just griped about the heat and I'm having HOT oatmeal - oh, well. I do, because I can and because I love it - but not as much as I  YOU, Gerald!

LW has donned her hibiscus print Capris and a teensy red shirt and is headin' out for VBS - because she can!

I have to say, I'm having more FUN here and am truly ENJOYING this MF experience so much! I can't remember the last time I was actually in a GOOD mood for several days at a stretch, and here I am feeling great and HAPPY - for the 6th day in a row!

I have to tell you, I wore shorts in public last Thursday for the first time in my adult life. I don't know what came over me. Maybe it was knowing that I was starting MF the next day and I just didn't care what anyone thought! But that was the start of my breakthrough and I'm not looking back.

We don't have A/C here either. Most people in New England think it's unnecessary and it's not often that you see a house with central A/C. We worry more about freezing in the winter than being hot in the summer. Heck, I think it only has hit 90 here in Boston this summer maybe 2 or 3 times, and we usually have a cool breeze coming in off the ocean anyway!

BUT I've only lived here for 11 years. I came from Vegas (yeah, baby!) so I want my A/C!!! My house doesn't have it, but you can bet I have window unit A/C's in all the right places. Hey, I can't risk fat rolls sticking together and getting trapped somewhere!

The nice part of living here is Spring, Summer and Fall. Even in Summer it can get down in the 50's at night, and often does! Most days are 75-85 degrees.

Well, Little Darlin' - thanks for that update on Boston's climate - I figured it would be hot and humid there. Someday we may be able to visit ya. I'll take the room with the AC...

I really wanted to visit PA and other interesting and historical places when were were back east last month. Not enough time or $ for all the things LW wanted to do.

Frankly, I am touristically-challenged. Haven't been very many places.

Yet! :D

Uh, I definitely KNOW whatcha mean about those fat rolls stickin' together...we used to have a leather recliner and my back flab got stuck to the back of the recliner on one very hot and slippery day - I was nearly peeled alive when I rolled outta the chair and my flesh remained behind...

It's been in the VERY HIGH 90's all week.

xxxooo Sweaty Betty
