Hi Beth, good to hear from you :). You can do this !! Lean on what you need. So, as much as you can (and need), be here on the forum. That's what we are all here for, to help each other (and ourselves).

Remember, you are not giving up these other things forever. You are just giving yourself some time to learn how to keep your relationship with them in check -- for good, and in the meantime, you will be able to make a few changes in the clothes you can wear ;).

Anyway, be tough and get here when you can.

Cheers,
Karli

Well, thank freakin' god, Beth, I thought you dove straight into a cake and hadn't yet come up for air! Glad you got your feeding fun in, now it's time to get your thin fun going! I assure you, no matter how fantastic the food tastes, watching yourself get smaller feels infinitely better.

I have paid for countless open bars, endless bottles of wine at group dinners, and for rounds of drinks for friends at bars. And you know what? It's fine. I don't care. I may be losing a bit of money, but I get to feel great (and make fun of my drunk friends the next day)...

You're going to do great, just flip that switch in your head, and dig in. Don't question anything, just do the diet, and nothing else. No "little bit more," no "just a taste," no "but I haven't had this in so long," none of it. Just stick to it, and the cravings will subside. I promise!

Ciao, bella, have fun getting back on the train!

HAHAHA@Lauren!!! Not a lot of cake here, but I did find that every time I ate something I wanted like a Hershey bar, I wanted MORE!!! After the Hershey's I wanted a Snickers! Nothing was making me happy.

I decided to keep a food diary too. This will help out- I used to do it at work but got lazy.

DAY ONE: ( I have the day off so it is a good day to re-start everything)

8:00 Strawberry Shake
10:30 Chocolate RTD Shake
11:30 GYM- burned 150 calories on the elliptical and did 40 crunches
2:00 MF Granola bar
4:00 Cream of chicken soup
6:30 Lean 5 oz hamburger with 2 tsp ketchup and 1.5 cups cooked onions and portobellos
8:30 Hot cocoa
9:00 Bed

I almost never post in the forums (although I read them most everyday) so I know you don't know me...but I am so glad you are back. I look forward to reading your posts. I derive great comfort from your struggles and successes, and I appreciate you sharing.

I just wanted you to know that there is someone who cares about your successes here in lurk-land.

MMM, sounds good, how were the portabellos? I'm not much of a tomato fan, maybe green peppers? Hmmm, I see a plan coming together!

Today is day five of compliance. I gained a .3 pound from yesterday. I wonder why. Last night I had breaded chicken and tomatoes with a sprinkle of LF mozzarella. The breading was actually crumpled soy crisps!! It was really good and tasted just like regular breading. But I wonder if that caused the .3 gain. Hmmm.

Today is my work Xmas party. I plan on eating the turkey and string beans, along with some diet cokes. I really need strength to get through this day. Right now someone next to me is eating hash browns and bacon and I have drool falling out of my mouth...

HELP!
