You guys are all beautiful and make me homesick for some Texas hair! A little bit of volume is gorgeous. They have to flat iron mine to get to look like Yankee hair. (I'm from Dallas but living in DC against my will.) :)

Thanks, guys!

Biki, I actually just got my hair cut! It was time to update the look. It takes me a lot longer to straighten it than it does to just fluff and go, but I really like it straight! My hubby does, too. I want to try a really deep auburn or go fully brunette in the fall. You are so brave with colors and styles!

My husband actually likes my purple hair, but he had time to get used to it because I talked about it for a few weeks before I did it. I love darker colors in autumn. Go for it!

BT  you are doing so great. We started almost at the same time and are chugging along at about the same rate of loss. How cool is that?
You are in onederland, :bravo:
Must be the best feeling, Ill be there soon with you.
Have a wonderful, wonderful day.

I work at a doctor's office, and I use the scales there every Tuesday morning. When I got on the scales this morning, I automatically set the bottom weight to 200. It actually took me time to figure out that I needed to set it lower! When I realized what it meant, I actually got teary. I'm such a dork to be so excited about 1 lb below the 200 mark, but I was so afraid I wouldn't get here!

That is so great! I can only imagine how you must have felt. A couple of weeks ago when I moved from the 250 to the 200 mark, I got a little misty eyed myself. It had been so long since I had been able to do that, I just stood there and stared at the scales.

Today wasn't so great. Scales didn't move, actually they went UP 1/4 lb. I'm SO bummed. Eating is perfect, getting all my water. Haven't a clue what is up with that. I am beginning to think that this is a little plateau.

I started out losing so quickly, but it took me two weeks to get this last five lbs off. The week before I didn't lose at all. I figure it's gonna go that way from time to time. I tend to get obsessive, so that's why I decided to limit myself to weighing once a week only.
