Hello, All! Weighed in at 207 today. Still goin' in the right direction! Yay!

Walked 30 min on Saturday. Still working on making the exercise thing a habit!

I found a little orange and white kitten under my car Saturday morning. I gave him a bath and he never scratched or hissed! He's such a sweet, friendly little thing. We already have 4 cats and a dog, so I've gotta find him a home before my hubby gets attached, the softie. He's really adorable, though. (Both of them :D )

I say find the hubby a new home and keep the kitten. ;)

Well, you can see what my attitude is today. Glad to see you are doing well and the numbers are heading in the right direction for you!

Keep up the good work and send the Medivibes Ohio bound K!

Ya got a point there Tex! Well, if I were closer I'd say bring it to the barn - the more cats the fewer mice I say!

Something tells me that Skye wouldn't want to lug a kitten from Texas to Indiana on her trip.

Are you in Indiana, Rodeo? All of my relatives on both sides of the fam are in Lafayette. Spent a coupla growin'-up years here and there in Lafayette myself! :D Love the family and the scenery, but couldn't take those winters, for sure!

205 today! Woo-hoo! My ticker will be true again in no time!

I'm gonna try to include a pic of the kitten in here. My dog, Dobby, has decided Kevin (DH calls the kitten Kevin, for the movie director Kevin Smith) is her personal pet. We have to separate them every now and then so Kevin can get some sleep (and so we can, too!).

Here Dobby is pouting 'cause Troy put her in time-out for getting the kitten all worked up:

<img src="http://i200.photobucket.com/albums/aa196/Daisy6671/IMGP1044x.jpg" border="0" alt="Dobby stalks the new kitten">

"Maybe if I creep r-e-a-l-l-y s-l-o-w-l-y Dad won't notice ..."

<img src="http://i200.photobucket.com/albums/aa196/Daisy6671/IMGP1045.jpg" border="0" alt="Dobbs makes her move">

There's no photographic evidence after that 'cause of course, all hell breaks loose ... Dobbs sneaks up on Kevin and sniffs him, Kevin springs into the air, war ensues on Troy's stomach, Troy suffocates, our other four grown cats all start hissing and nipping at each other (which I don't get, the dumba$$es have all known each other for years already, but it does no good to point it out to them). Fur and breakables fly. Troy puts Dobby in time-out. Sweep up breakables and clumps of fur. Wait 10-15 minutes. Repeat sequence. *sigh*

A good friend at work, Ceci, lost her cat of many years about a year ago. It was really traumatic for the family, as he was really sick at the end and they had to put him to sleep. She has lots of family, though, so I asked her if she'd ask around to see if anyone was interested in the kitten. Today she said that she and her two teenage daughters want him! :D I'm so happy! I wish we could keep him, but he deserves a family where he'll be the only kitten so he'll get all the lovin' and adoration he can handle. I'm so happy! Troy is heartbroken, though. :cry: Such a sweet, soft heart!

I have a question about the PB2 stuff. Is it for maintenance only, or can it be used in the weight loss phase? If so, how much would you add to a shake or pudding? Does it add a lot of carbs or fat?

Thanks!

Just today I tried the new dark chocolate and the pomegranate shakes. They're wonderful! :D Does anyone know, can we have these shakes anytime, or only 1 or 2 a day?

You can have 5 of them a day if you like. You can also have the antioxidant infusers 5 times in addition to that. Antioxidants are great, and these taste awesome don't they?

Also... fixed your signature... got rid of the extra stuff....

You're so awesome, Mike!! Thanks SO much!! :D

I'm so excited about the flavor infusers and the shakes! I used to love all the soups, but this time around I'm not as into them (except for chicken noodle). It's nice to have some variety to throw in there!

OK, those photos are ADORABLE. And I'm so glad little Kevin has found a home.

What are we going to do tonight, Brain?

Actually, I am in Central Ohio. Skye is origianlly from Indiana and is making a trip from San Antonio to visit family. We are going to try to get together while she is so close to me.

Not sure if anyone answered the PB2 question. I use it in weight loss phase (I am pretty sure 2 TBSP are allowed as a snack??) Thing is though, I am able to get away with 2 TBSP of regular peanut butter on my celery and still stay in fat burning mode so someone else may want to take that on.

Thanks for stopping by my journal by the way. I appreciate (and need) all the encouragement!

Blessings,

Hi, Rodeo, Cyd and DogMa! Thanks for all your hi's and advice! :) San Antonio's a great town to visit, she'll have a blast!

I tried the PB2 in a choc shake today and I'm not sure yet if I like it. I'm trying it in choc pudding tomorrow. I'll have to try it in vanilla pudding, too.

I added 1/2 a Crystal Light pomegranate/cherry drink packet to the p/c shake to try tomorrow, too. I like the shakes, but I like the CL mix better, so I thought I'd give it a try.

The dark choc, though ... perfect! :)

Today is my first day of perfect compliance! I actually turned down Cheeto's today! WooHoo!

Ooops - got it backwards. She lives in San Antonio now, revisiting home in Indiana.

The PB2 took some getting used to, but when I realized I could get away with the real thing I gave up on the PB2. I am a peanut butter FREAK! completely addicted! But get this, I don't like it mixed with any MF supplements!

Rodeo, that's too funny! I LOVE a smoothie shake with peanut butter and banana in it. I've been so tempted to throw some in a shake before! I'm so glad you told me that - I won't even try it! :)

Of course, the ultimate way to eat peanut butter is with chocolate. As in Reeses. I LOOOOOOOOOVE Reeses. Mmmmmmmm.

I hope I like the PB2 stuff in the pudding. Otherwise, I've got a whole lotta PB2 to do something with. Maybe it'll grow on me.
