Thanks for the pats!

Postby mousehouse62 » July 10th, 2006, 11:41 am

Thanks y'all for the pats!
They feel soooooooooo good!
Yes, hub and I are committed to this plan so much that we went out to breakfast with some friends of ours.....an adult date as it were. We went to one of our fave mexican resturants and knowing that they did not have one thing on the menu that we could even nibble on.....we took our bars and were going to have bars and iced tea. We got there and lo and behold, they had added some new things to the menu. Now remember we were there for breakfast and it was about 10:30 but because we had been there so many times before, we asked perhaps if we could have their newly added grilled fish with grilled vegis and they said yes! We were so excited so we ordered, ate like good MF kids and then shake'd for the rest of the day. We did have a few good snacks from the list but we were both so proud of ourselves and our friends didnt look at us like we were from some other planet! Ah......life is good!
Tony, I read on Sharon's pic page and saw pics of you and your sweet cherub! OMG......she is so dang cute! Y'all should be proud!
Thanks again everyone for the pats!
Keep 'em comin'!!!
Hugz!

Ok, it is day 11 for the two of you - how are you doing?

I want you to know that I went to a farmers market Sunday after church and went right by the fresh rasberries and apricots. I told myself I sure miss having the fresh fruit. Then I realized that once I get to my goal I can have fruit again. So for now I remember what it tastes like and know that I will have it again. I too am using the Sugar Free syrups for a nice flavor. When I get a craving for fruit I make the banana pudding with 4oz of water and 1 oz of coconut sugar free syrup and that gives me a tropical dessert.

I look forward to hearing how you two are doing.

WOOHOO!!

Postby mousehouse62 » July 15th, 2006, 12:42 pm

Hi everyone!
Stepped on the magic scale today and I am down 3 more for the week. Wish it was more but I really struggled this week with food! I had the snackies bad!!! But I know that I am doing well since I put on a pair of capris this morning and two weeks ago, my hips were snug! Now.....they slip right on and have some room to spare!
Is it too early to start doing a few sit-ups or start some exercise? I am wondering if it would help me to even concentrate better on not eating and keep with my MF meals. I think i need to do one more shake in the day or at least have it available in case I need to "shake it up" when the hunger strikes.
Thanks for the warm welcomes and the great pats!
We are on this great journey and gosh....it feels good!
