It's so nice to hear you're having such a good day!! I got my shipment yesterday and was SO happy to see all those boxes of chocolate pudding!! And a case of RTDs, which make life so much easier.

I agree, DogMa. I don't know how I ever managed without these RTD's.

Well I did it. I did not cheat once today. I did have an extra shake but that is because my stomach was literally growling. So I am not counting it as a cheat.

This is the first time I have been able to make it through a whole day without going off plan since I did this back in Feb.

It was hard. I still "feel" hungry. But I know I am truly ok. Pray I can just make it these 3-4 days. I am just telling myself after that it will be easier. I hope I am not lying to myself.

Great job!! And no, an extra shake does NOT count as a cheat. I actually lose better if I have an extra supplement every day. It's absolutely acceptable, and it's even recommended if you're hungry.

Ugh. I am just not in the mood to do this program today. Which I know means this is one of the most important days to do it. So far so good on being compliant... I had an RTD as soon as I woke up and a Choc Mint Bar about 2 hours later. I would have waited longer but I was really really hungry. I will wait 3 hours to have my soup.

I guess my "cheating" this weekend caught up with me because I have gone back up to 260.8. I saw that on the scale this morning and cried. What if this won't work for me? I know thats such a STUPID thought and the kind of thought that really doesn't help me or boost morale but I couldn't help it. I know Sunday after 5 days of being compliant there is bound to be a little bit of weight off. And even there is not I need to just keep going. I know this, but its hard to come to grips with.

I am also late on my "Monthly Visitor." I took a pregnancy test yesterday and it immediately came out negative so I know I am not pregnant. I don't have any symptoms of pregnancy. But I am usually pretty normal. Maybe my eating habits are effecting me? Not so sure.

I need some prayers today. It's going to be tough one.

Hey there, I was 8 days late my first month on the program. It was brutal, I was so moody and a basket case. It's normal to be off scheduale when you are eating so little or losing weight quickly.

Just try to get through it, like Robin says, have another suppliment. Try and get outside, take a walk, go see a friend, do anything you can to stop thinking about how miserable you are and how much you want to eat! :goodluck:
Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.

Start Weight 326.7 ~ My short term goal will put me at 250!

Started June 19th 2008. First Mini Goal 76.7 pounds.

Estrogen is stored in fat cells, so when you start losing fat, you release a whole lot of extra estrogen, which can wreak havoc on your cycle - and may also be responsible for some mood swings.

Everyone has doubts in the beginning, and I think a lot of people are afraid it won't work. It will, as long as you stick to the program. I know it's hard in the beginning, but it really WILL get easier.

Image ZINK!

I have read your journal all the way through, and marvel at all the wonderful help and support you have been given. How can anyone not make it with help like that!

You will do fine, babe, because 'you want to' and because you keep trying! You can look back on this later, and be a great help and support to somebody else who is struggling like you are now.

We gain strength when we are lifting others up.

Love and prayers,

I guess it is my turn to say the same to you! *big hugs* sounds like i might have passed my mood onto you. and my "friend" is also late this month though oddly it came right away after i started. ah us and our weird bodies i guess. i think that might be why my mood was fluctuating. anyways take care and keep posting like you told me to!

 we will both get there sure enough, the harder days are always going to be the ones that test us and make us stronger on this :D

Right on LilEmo. I should follow my own advice. Thank GOD for this forum, I don't think I could do this without it. And thank you so much for all your kind words. Y'all are the bomb.

Today is not as hard as I thought. The mood fluctuates. One hour I am high on life and then the next minute I feel like crap and want to eat everything in sight.

I have one more MF meal left (chicken noodle, baby) and then my L&G tonight! And probably a MF shake but we will see how hungry I am. I might not need it tonight.

Right now I am starving though. I can't wait til Day 5 is here. I am praying it really will be better after 5 days of total compliance.

Blech.

I have been on Medifast for 10 days. I have been compliant for 2. I have lost 6 pounds. Is this good? I dont know. I want to be out of the 250's. I want to be closer to 200 then 300.

I need to stop weighing myself. It's driving me crazy.

WOOOT WOOOOOOOOOOOT

I am back down to 257. Chugging over 200 oz of water the past 2 days and being completely compliant has worked its magic.

I think I will go out and celebrate with a cheeseburger.

JUST KIDDING.

I think I am going to buy myself a new book. Hey, it ain't much, but its something. Now I will try not to weigh myself until Monday morning. My goal is to be 255 by Monday. We'll see how it goes.

Funny how the plan works better when you actually follow it, right? I think that's a lesson we ALL have had to learn.

Hang in there!!

Right on, DogMa. I think the lesson I had to learn is I can't do this half way. I have to do this 100 percent.

I have had an awesome day. I was off from work. I did some walking and swimming. It's VERY hot in Richmond today. I played with my dog and honestly almost forgot to eat my meals. And my HA mailed me some samples of the soy crisps. OH MY GOD. The Apple Cinnamon ones are the bomb. I love my HA. :)

I hope everyone is having a great day. I also bought some salsa and chili powder so tonight I am going to attempt to make the chili again. Wish me luck on that one.

Edit: Unca put up my avatar! Yaaay. That is for Lizbette. :)

HA! I am on a posting frenzy today.

DogMa's post on being able to wear things from VS made me remember the one thing that has been motivating me as of late.

Exhibit A

Image

I want to be able to wear THAT number on New Year's Eve this year. I got 6 months, baby! I might not be at goal but I think I might be at a weight where I would look alright in this. (Not as nice as Marissa Miller the model pictured but close enough for me)

And then Exhibit B

Image

I am moving to FL, land of warm weather and beaches. I thought it would be nice to be able to wear nice summer dresses on the weekends. With a tan and a sundress I can't go wrong.

I really look forward to the day I can do these things. Maybe its shallow. But I can't help it. I WANT TO BE HOT.
