You guys aren't going to BELIEVE what I did...

Postby dede4wd » May 7th, 2006, 11:25 am

I had a WEIRD Saturday. It was my first day off in a LONG TIME! I was doing some laundry and catching up on my TIVO and stuff. The funny thing is, I’m USED to being busy! Yesterday, I could THINK about food and food only!!

I was STARVING all day! I finally gave up and made some SF jello during the afternoon. I haven’t had a snack in like a month and a half! I thought I was doing fine…what did I do?

Apparently, I had a bout of sleep-eating. I woke up this morning and found on the floor of the kitchen…a bar wrapper! Can you BELIEVE THAT? I have no recollection whatsoever of it! I know the dog didn’t drag the wrapper out of the garbage because it wasn’t the same kind of bar I had yesterday!

I’m going to have to booby trap my kitchen so I fall and wake myself up or something! This is unbelievable! Has anybody had ANYTHING like this happen in the middle of the journey? What the HECK happened?

I know it could've been a LOT worse! I could've eaten something REALLY bad! Or worse...driven somewhere to get food like Denise said! Yikes! But still, what if something I wasn't even AWARE I did took me out of Ketosis? This sucks!

DeDe ~ I know that I should say something really comforting, right now, but I just can't stop laughing. I'm so glad that you made a "good" choice, though!

I know, it's VERY funny in an uncomfortable way...Wish I could've blamed it on the dog!

Do I still get my bar today...I'll only have ONE CONSCIOUS bar today!

You're not taking Ambien, are you? There have been multiple news stories about people on Ambien eating junk in their sleep.

Wow DeDe...That is so impressive that you sleep eat on program!! It beats counting sheep.

Not to mention the kind of trouble you could get into if you made it out of the house...

Hopefully it's out of your system and you won't have a repeat. Seriously, if you do, you might want to mention it to your doctor. I too have heard a lot in the news recently about people eating and driving in their sleep, brought on by taking sleeping aids like Ambien. Hope the "secret ingredients" in MF Meals doesn't have the same effect.

Take care and be sure to lock your doors at night, and hide the car keys too, just in case!!

Since there is no logical explanation, it must have been the sabotage fairies. They are trying to lead you to believe that you ate the bar when you really didn't. They wanna stress you out so you really do take a drive to Taco Bell!! Yeah, that's it, SABOTAGE FAIRIES!! I bet you the dog saw them!!
