What do you do when the cravings hit?

Questions/Comments about Weight loss Products.

I know I have said this a couple of times in past threads. But what I do is drink a 8oz glass of water and put a piece of spicey cinnamon gum in. I usually have to do this everyday around 4. I usually have to go into restaurants at that time. And chefs are always trying to feed me. Once you have the smell and the taste of the cinnamon my cravings go away. On the weekends I will go brush my teeth.

The fat picture

Postby Charity » February 4th, 2007, 11:42 am

When I have a craving outside of the house (which is where the temptations are). I have an awful looking picture of me looking my heaviest ( a recent picture is most effective) that I have tucked into a secret place in my wallet. I take a look at that picture  and that helps me to say focused.

The hugest help with cravings is to not have anything I can't eat at the house that I love. My husband can have his snacks so long as I don't care for them (like iso peanuts, any nuts, pastries). No chocolate or ice cream or rice allowed in the house. So, when I have a craving I must go out of the house to get it and my laziness usually helps me overcome the craving.

my husband is sooo supportive. We love rice and he is cutting it out of all of his meals with me just to help me out. :stroll:

I have a picture frame on my desk at work with the ad from the last people magazine that has the MF girl that lost 70lbs along with a picture of me when I was smal it sits next to my computer screen, as far as the grocery store goes I was in there yesterday looking for some legal salad dressing and all the chips and crackers were so tempting but I thought for a second what happened last time I went off plan I felt like total crap and realized that's not what will make me happy and another thing I do with every issue that arises in my every day life is I ask myself "Is it going to make a difference/or matter a week from now? If it's not going to then I don't let it stress me out as bad...
