I just got back from a conference and I found it challenging, but I made it through. RTD's make it easier, but I only had a couple. I found that a shaker and shakes are easiest. Also, most motels/hotels have coffee machines, so as long as you have a spoon you can make oatmeal, soups, and hot drinks.
I actually like the hot cocoa with coffee (mocha). For my L&G I have found that most restaurants have pretty good salads available, and some have other food that is lean as well.
Well, good luck on your trip.. Someday I hope to make it to Montreal also.

Bets,

My shakes are fine in the cooler all day long with the little ice-pack. I usually leave my pudding in the hotel fridge for the evening (although I make it in the morning!)

have a blast!

All I have to say is Dede LOVES the banana pudding (in all it's wall plastering glory) so the poutine would be right up her alley (maybe we could use that topping as grout)!!!

What can I say? I have...eclectic taste! You all just keep sending that nanner pudding this way and I'll continue to avoid the poutine!
