I was a restarter too. I have made it ok my second time around (crossing my fingers, not *quite* to goal yet :) )

Wow you blasted right by me in the weight department (not that we are racing or anything).

You did great during the holidays! You go girl!

I am a restarter too! I restarted last week and I finally am at ticker weight today. I am bummed because I have 15 days or so to my one year aniversary of starting MF for my first time and i will not make goal by then..... we should look on the bright side right? I am down over 40lbs from last year and you are still 50lbs less.

What worked for me is getting someone to start with me.

I am glad to hear you got through day one. That's the hardest! good luck!

I have nothing to lose but weight and my boss (male) is trying to see if I can really lose 25lbs at the least in 90 days.. I have my eye on the prize and god willing which I 'm sure it will happen I would like to be 40lbs lighter by April 7th.... I'm so tired of being overweight I can taste it and My hubby is holding me to it because we want to start trying for a family soon....

Hi

Postby dede4wd » January 7th, 2008, 7:39 pm

My Gramma always says, it's not how hard you fall, it's that you get up. I think we've proven we can get up every time we fall, but I myself am tired that I keep pulling the hot pan over on my head. I have ascertained that it's hot, why do I keep doing it?

I can't even count the number of times I've re-started. That's the beauty, MF is always here for me!

I finally feel I have my head on straight and I just want to FINISH this and hang out in maintenance land with all my friends! So...Let's DO THIS!

After waking up to a 2.5lbs loss I'm totally in it to win I have posted my current success elsewhere as well and I'm beyond stoked... My first goal is to get the next 32lbs off I will only then need to lose 99 more lbs.. My niece's teacher pointed out a good thought to her, in the event she is suffering grade wise between her teachers and I we are trying our hardest to enocurage her to get better grades. So her teacher tell's her "Courtney since you already have a high "C" why not try for a "B" then why not try for an "A"?" I think that is a really good motto to go by especially on program.. If one has already lost 10lbs why not go for 15 or 20 and so on... It's a small way to encourage yourself when your down instead of kicking yourself in the shins.... Well enough of my two cents for the day I'm on to another shake...

Good for you! That is a great way to start the week! I have finally figured out that if I just work on my 2-3 lbs weight loss for this week and do what I need to do the 20-30-40-50 lbs will add up. Everytime I stop and look at the 40 I still have to lose I get overwhelmed.
