Yesterday was challenging and I didn't get all of my supplements in.

We were away from home, I took a MF bar with me but instead of being gone for 2-3 hours, we were gone for almost 10 hours (helping a family member with what turned out to be a very long job). I drank 40 oz. of water during the time there, had 1/2 my bar for one supplement (at that time I could see that we were going to be there longer than 3 hours) and then had the other 1/2 for the next supplement. Dinner time came and no end to the job in site yet, Subway was what was chosen by the guys who were working, so I ordered a grilled chicken salad. One little portion of chicken :( with lettuce and some veggies. Only had 1 TBS of salad dressing as it was the full fat kind. Still had a loss and I did the best I could under the circumstances.

I've not told anyone other than my husband that I'm doing MF and I still don't want to share the information. I guess I'm waiting for a substantial, and obvious, loss before 'having' to tell. Right now, I can tell I'm losing (how my clothes feel) but no one else has mentioned it.

:( A bit disappointed that I didn't get all of my supplements in......but happy that I didn't cave in and have a sandwich or meats/cheese that would have been not allowed in the L & G. I did get some sideways glances that 'food lusting mom' was happily (yep, happily) having a salad but no questions or comments. :D

Sorry that happened but that you made it. Next time something similar has a chance to happen you can have some shakes and a shaker jar in your purse and drink them in the bathroom if yiou have to!

Biki, I wondered when I left home if I should tuck a shaker and a couple shakes into a bag to take along. Next time I will just err on the side of 'I need a couple of supplements'. Oh well, it was a lesson learnt.

Congrats Tawanda for at sticking to the program even if you couldn't get everything in. You could have easily grabbed for non-compliant food. You did a great job. I too have not told anybody other than my hubby that I am following it. Weight loss to me is very personal and I just don't feel comfortable discussing it. What happens if I fail? That then opens the door to criticism. As soon as I receive my shipments, I pack 5 supplements in a ziplock sandwich bag - so all I have to do each day is grab one and go. It is very helpful.

You did GREAT today Tawanda! Un expectant things can sometimes happen, but the decision you made with your L&G was a very sensible one. Just keep a spare packet of shake and shaker in your car, and like Biki said go i the batroom and drink it if need be. I always carry a spare of a bar or shake in my glove conpartment:+)
I haven't told anyone either accept my hubby too that i'm doing MF..lol!
Keep on shakin girl!

Love,
Chynna

Thank you Katie & Donica, you guys are sweet! I loved seeing 'who' I was posting with and thought it only fair that I put one up also. I do have to admit that this is a 2.5 year old photo of me....I don't have a current one that I can stomach. ;) I don't like seeing myself in photos, never have.

Okay, back to the housework.

Biki, Sojourner, Chynna & Jo, thanks. ;)

I was squatting in a field of tulips in Melbourne Australia in that photo. Smiling big as it was a beautiful place and I was enjoying my time visiting a friend there.

Weight this morning same as yesterday...196. I'm happy with that. I worked outside yesterday doing some heavy yard work. I had to take lots of breaks as I tired quickly but it felt good to be outside in the fresh air.

I've decided to have a wonderful day today......hope your day is a great one, too. :D
