Well just found out I didnt get a job I applied for about 2 weeks ago.I had a gut feeling it wasnt for me but still thats the 5th time since May that I have been declined form jobs.Very discouraging. I have been trying for other jobs just so I can make more money to save for school.I dont really want the make a career of them b/c my plan is to lose my weight and presue bartending since I have been a certified bartender since Jan of 04.I never really presured it due to my weight even though I was a little thinner then, not by much.I personally just wouldnt feel comfortable at this point to presue it.So I will keep on keeping on with my goal here and hopefully it will fall into place in the next some odd months. I would like to bartend and go to school full time this summer/fall.Thats one of my long-term goals. I have had for a while. If i can lose this weight I will be able to do anything.Or at least thats how I feel.

Okay done venting.... :)

In my (former) life as bar trash, I have known plenty of rubenesque bartenders. They did just fine! If that's what you are trained to do and WANT to do, don't let your weight be an issue. Bartending can be a lot of fun and a lot of work-so at least put the feelers out! Let's face it, your adorable mug won't hurt you in securing a bartending job either.

Congrats on the loss and I always wait until Sunday to change my ticker too. Less confusing with all my ups and downs!

I decided to change my ticker and break up my long term goal of 125, and replace it with mini goals for now instead.I think it will make me feel better to look at my ticker this way. We'll see.

So when I woke up this morning I decided to try making the oatmeal cookies. I made a package of the peach oatmeal with the ingrediants from the oatmeal cookie post made by Nancy.Hers was for Apple Cin. so I just didnt add cinn. to mine. I just had them as my snack and I will say they were good. So I will probably be hooked on doing that for a bit.
I would up having a salad for lunch so I will have my soup tonight instead.
I cant wait to get to my mini goal.I will be working very hard to get there.Hope everyones day went well...

Debra, I really like them oatmeal cookies :). I actually love to cook and bake sometimes, but lately I am too impatient (and probably burned out of cooking from the holidays) to wait for those buggers to be done. Maybe I will make some blueberry pancakies tomorrow, though.

Sounds like you are doing really well, keep it up :).
