DAY 6

Well this morning hasnt started off that well considering I didnt lose anything this week really.I know the Wed morn the scale said I lost 5lbs from Tuesday. But I am thinking it was b/c i was stuffed from Chirstmas day and eating later in the night. So when I weighed in that morning I was back to my normal weight. I know I should be happy but I am not.I am hoping for a better weigh in next week.I mean this is my TOM, starting today so maybe I am bloated or something.

Eating plan:
730-hake
1030-bar
130-veg soup
430-oatmeal
730-l&g
930-pudding

Don't sweat it! When I obsess about the scale, it just puts me in a bad mood. You're doing the right things, the scale will follow...don't let it get you down!

Plus, if Aunt Flo is visiting...it can wreak havoc on the scale!

So for dinner I had a grilled chicken breast and salad at a steak house.I got a combo meal so I have steamed veggies and steak for my lean and green tomorrow.

So I am a little upset that I am not out partying. I remember when I was thinner and I would go out and have fun.And I just dont anymore due to being overweight. I dont like being the big girl or feeling uncomfortable.
I am sorry if this is rather negative and I try my best to always stay positive...but I feel like I am missing out on so much. But that is why I am here, I understand. I even ignored that voice in my head that said go ahead and eat whatever you want for dinner...i was a little down about my weight loss.Let me explain.

Christmas night I ate late and was still stuffed from eating so much since I went to bed practically after dinner and dessert. So Tues. morning(day 1) i weighed in at 5 lbs more than the weight i maintained for the last some odd months.Wed morning I weighed and I was back to my normal weight.I just figured my weight balanced back out since that day was alot less in calories.Either way I am happy that i did lose the five lbs.I havent cheated once or even eaten extra snacks except for a few olives i found out I wasnt allowed, so I stopped.I dont know...I am just venting...sorry everyone.Just having a moment...

To end on a positive note here.I am definitely ready for 2007...new me...great support...big changes...
HAVE A HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL!!!!

Hi

Postby dede4wd » January 1st, 2007, 12:32 pm

I COMPLETELY understand your vent. I ws kind of the same way last night!

But, we have to remember that this isn't forever, it's what we need to do right now to get our life back. All those things will be there in moderation and after we can make wise choices later.

I think you did good! Yup, feeling sorry for yourself for a bit is way better than going out drinking or going to Dairy Queen and ruining the whole week. What we're doing is a process, no need to slow it down, we can beat those stupid voices in our head, this is OUR YEAR to reach goal!

And yes this is a process.I am not looking back this time.I am at my wit's end.I want to be happy and have a fulfilling life. This is OUR year!
Thanks for the encouragement Dede! Much appreciated.

Week 2- Day 1

So this weekend I was fine other than being bored really.Weekends are always a little boring for me, but that will soon change.I am feeling pretty good this morning.Even postive.I which I could have this feeling all the time. And go figure its raining here and I had a black cat run in front of my car while leaving home this morning...yes I am supersticious. On a postive note my mom won tickets off the radio months ago,to see Molly Ringwald (I'm sure you know who she is--->80's Brat Pack Icon,Actress in Pretty in Pink, Breakfast Club, 16 Candles) in a show called Sweet Charity.I love shows and was heavily in theatre all through High School. I'm rather excited. And I get off early for work on top of that....so yeah I hope that cat had some hidden white on it somewhere...
Anywhoo...

630-shake
930-bar
1230-soup
330-oatmeal
630-L&G
1000-not too sure, show starts at 8.Wont be home till like 10-1015.
What should I do about this??? I could bump my meals up a half
hour and try to drink it before I go? I am not sure...opinions needed
please!!! Thanks. Hope everyone had a great weekend and a great
day today.

If it was me, I'd save the last supplement for when I got home. Doesn't matter that it's 10:00 pm
