i hear you on the car thing... i have a 07 and told mikaela when we got it in august that we would NOT let it get junky, it is a brand new car and needs to last a long time and we should take care of it..... well.... i think that is near impossible for a 4 yr old. There is enough toys, babies, whateva in the back seat to fill a small toy box! i'm no better, leaving the mail on the floor of the front seat for 2 weeks at a time! maybe i'll clean my car out today too! thanks for the inspiration!

okay, one thing... i tried the oatmeal cookies a while ago and maybe i didn't do it right... i thought they were horrid! hmmm.... time to try again? we'll see....

Have a great day in this beautiful Gulf coast Florida sunshine! (isn't it great, when you can see on the news the snow/ice every where else, and we can go to the beach if we really wanna? :) )

Good luck retrying the cookies QT...I mean they didnt come out like pillsbury or anything but they were good.

I for one, actaully LOVE the winter.Native Jersey Girl here.I miss the seasons and the cold weather...but at least its sunny today.

I dont go to the beach now-a-days b/c of my weight but I did a few summers ago.I dont like to swim in the ocean that much b/c I am afraid of sharks. But I do like the beach.

I still haven't cleaned my car yet...

NO? They aren't like pillsbury???!!!! maybe that's what the problem is..... ha ha ha  j/k I will try again... haven't yet. Talk about lazy, i haven't cleaned my car either!!! In fact, I JUST took a shower at 4:30 pm.... we have been lazy bums today!

As far as the weather... i love the beach!! We should make it our goal to be able to look awesome on the beach together by like April/May... we can do that! Besides, i decided a long time ago when it comes to the beach that i'm not going to deprive myself of going somewhere i love because of how i look.... i see it like this: 1. if you don't like how i look, don't look at me :) and 2. there is ALWAYS someone at the beach who looks worse. I know that may sound shallow, but believe me, thinking that has allowed me to enjoy the beach even when i'm heavy and not comfortable w/ myself. Granted, i try to cover up somewhat, i'm not out there in a thong bikini! HA... i don't want to make the other beach combers sick! ha ha ha As far as the sharks go, they are SO over rated.... ha ha ha... just kidding... I grew up in Fl on the real ocean side, and never had a scare, and the gulf i don't think is any more of a threat the real ocean... so no worries... 8)

have a great evening!

Proof that I never let my considerable poundage prevent me from being a bathing beauty. That one trip to Puerto Rico last March has proven to provide a treasure trove of BEFORE pics! I always wore a little black skirt cover up to the thigh chubbles but look at those dimply arms! The rum and coke in that cup helped me not care.

Yeah I wear my bikini with a tee and yoga pants then take them off when I am wherever I am swimming. Rum and cokes definitly help. My friend and I got in trouble in orlando once for bringing Kahluas to the pool went we went swimming. Ahhh to thirst queching swimming moments...

WEEK 2- DAY 6

So I have a mini dilemma. I have been using my scale for years now. When I went to the OB (been going to the same one for years too) in Nov. I weighed myself on my scale in the morning before going and it was at 225lbs. When arrived there I was weighed with my clothes on at 215lbs.(medical scale). So I have been still weighing in with my scale but using the weight the docs office is giving. Basically in my head I am going by pounds instead of and actual number. So I got the Taylor body/fat scale last night.Weighed myself on that too(about 4x's) and it said 224.5lbs.So here I am confused but still deciding I will go by my old scale with pounds and maybe going to the doc's again to get weighed in in a month or so.So I dont know which is true but I am sticking with my 10lb loss theory.

So I've been toying with the idea of exercising Tuesday. It'll be my first day of Week 3.I was only gonna do maybe 15-20min. on my elliptical. And since I havent worked out in quite a few months I wont be jammin' on it like i used to.Havent fully decided on it yet though.Dont want to ruin what I have already accomplished. I just want to feel better.

Well I am off...till the morning... :snooze: sweet dreams all

WEEK 2- DAY 7

Well this morning has been a mighty hectic one for me at work.My friend/co-workers father died last night so she is flying to Michigan as I type. She is also prego. So I hope she is careful. She is finally prego after having 3 miscarriages in the last year and a half. She is on the verge of second trimester...I just hope she is okay.I have been here through all of it with her and I am just worried. Then another one of my coworkers called in from the hosptial, sick, will be out all week.So that leaves me and 3 others in my group and I serve as back up when my prego friend is out so just a little hectic this morning.

On a positve note.A pair of pants I wear quite often are not snug at all. So that is good.Cant wait till i can fit into my pants I wore over the summer even...

Today:

730-shake
1030-bar
100-soup
300-oatmeal
600-L&G
900-pudding

Still havent decided on the exercising...still contemplating.

Hi, Debra, it sounds like you are doing really well :). Keep it up and you will reap the wonderful rewards :). You are really strong and I know you will stay strong through this hecticness at work -- and it DOES sound a bit hectic .

Take care,

i hope everything works out with your friend....

Think like this: being so busy at work will make your week go by fast, stay compliant, and before you know it you will have lost more weight!!!

Hope you have a *calm* day :)

Stay strong, Debra! I know you can do it and at the same time prove what a valuable employee you are in the face of crisis. Always a bonus!

I am sticking with my old scale at home that i have been using, but still going by the loss of pounds not actual number. When I go to the doctor I will figure it out by what they weigh me in at. Hope that makes sense.
