:( Hello everyone! I have been gone a while and just wanted to say HI! It was my birthday on the 10th and for two weekends in a row I was taken out to dinner. Wasn't "horrible" :| But not compliant either. Now I feel guilt to the upmost belief!! Anyway, I am back on tomorrow strong, but kind of like back to start. I have been on the program for about 8 1/2 weeks and lost about 23 pounds. Have about 30 more to go. Any support would be so appreciated. Has anyone ever messed up a couple of days ? If so, what did you do to get back on track? Thanks so much in advance :D Missed you all.

I think it's safe to say that most (all?) of us have messed up for one day, two days, seven days, seven weeks... So you're not alone! There's a great quote I read last night in Success In a Shaker Jar: "People who fall into water aren't the ones who drown; it's the ones who don't pick themselves up out of the water." You did just the right thing-- you picked yourself up. It's only upwards and onwards from here.

I don't think there's any special way to restart or "fix" a lapse-- just shake it like you mean it! Have your 5 Medimeals, have your lean & green, have your water and legal snacks, pop some aspirin to help you thru the first 3 days of getting back into ketosis, and be very proud that you came back instead of giving up on yourself. We're so glad you came back! Build on the awesome success you've already had, and keep on going! Don't look back, and don't feel bad. As they say, just do it!

And the best trick I know of is to read on this form.... read and comment, read several times a day, every day, join in .... it will help you and you will help others. This forum is the best kept secret of the whole Medifast program. It gives a place to shout your victories, to grumble and complain, to find new tricks of the trade and great ways to fix treats to keep from getting bored. You will find friends who understand exactly what you are going through, friends that have been through the same things you have, felt the same feelings. You will find friends that will listen and offer suggestions and support. Take it an hour at the time, stay compliant, drink your water and read, READ, R E A D!!!! This forum has been a life saver for me.

Ditto to Rae & Karen....they said it all!!!...give yourself a HUGH
for getting back to the journey...one time or another we all fall....but it is the ones who pick themselves up that will succeed. Think of BOXING...if they continue getting up they are still in the game....they may get bumps & bruises during the fight...they may fall many times but they get back up... it is their determination that will bring them success....if they choose to stay down they are out....THIS IS YOUR FIGHT TO WIN...you fell but are getting back up with determination to win..... and we are all cheering you on... :cheerleader:

Thank you all for your support, I am not in the right frame of mind today, I am struggling. Maybe I should get the appetite suppressant shakes? Has anyone found that these make a "real" difference?
You guys are the best! :D

I've never used the appetite suppresant shakes, but I really wished I had some this weekend! It never hurts to order a sample, or a box, worst case you have an emergency (if icky) ration in case your order doesn't come in on time.

You can't change the past, just today and tomorrow. Concentrate on today, because tomorrow will happen anyway. :) You can do it!

Hey Kelly - I JUST ordered the appetite supression shakes this week to get me thru the hard times of day. I just drank my first one. It is a bit chalkier than the regular. But good. I had the chocolate. I think next time I will add the syrups. But, it was definitely drink-able!

Now, I will have to post back later to tell you if it worked!! ;)

Hi again Kelly. I have been having an appetite suppression shake every morning and I have not noticed a real difference in the fullness. I am right now in whacky hormonal something or other, but again have not noticed a difference.

Hope that helps! And sorry I didn't reply earlier when I said I was newly trying them!
