Sunday Morning Roll Call: October 16, 2005

Postby mama2benandrachel » October 16th, 2005, 3:57 am

Good morning everyone!

It's a cold and dark morning here in Michigan! I'm down 2 lbs. for a total of 32 lbs. in 5 weeks! I wanted a 4 or 5 lbs. loss this week, but I will take the 2 lbs. as long as the number keeps going down!!!!!!!!! I think the weight loss has slowed down. I won't get discourage because I am in this for the LONG HAUL!!!!!!!! I feel so great compared to B4 MF!!!!!!

I am getting so many compliments at work! That really helps when people notice!
Take care and God Bless,
Judy <><

Goodmorning everyone! I hope the scales are good to you all today. I had a great week and dropped 3lbs. I'm so very happy about that after the week I had last week with falling off the wagon and all. I just proved to myself it is possible to get your control back after making some bad choices.

Have a great Sunday and roll call!

MomtoBenandRachel, looks like we posted at the same time again  32 lbs in 5 weeks is FANTASTIC!! The weight does slow down at some point. I know for me it didn't happen until the last 2 months or so and I've been at it since March. But, 2lbs is great for any week really. I know I would have a slow week and then the next week would be much more. You're doing GREAT!

Mom2B&R - WOW - your wt loss is soooooo awesome !!!! It feels really great when people notice - especially ourselves :D .

Ljm - 3 is GREAT !!! You are so very right there are weeks now when I would give my eye teeth for a 3 pound loss - but again , a loss is a loss and with that said...

I am down 2.5 pounds this week. I could spit b/c I was down 2.5 since Tues ?? Which is early in the week for me to have lost already. So of course I was praying for one of those mid program lose a ton weeks ... Oh well, my mood is telling me it is more that likely TOM soon soooo - I am hoping to make 60 pound club next week - Keep your fingers crossed and have a great week. Oh and yesterday concluded my 16th week on MF - so 59 pounds in 4 months. I am not complainig :D .Mytime

Hope everyone had a great Medi-week! I'm down 4 more pounds for a total of 24. Big ups to everyone for your loses. It was especially inspirational to see some folks like 24KaratGold & Gwenski get into new weight loss decades this week ... way to go guys!

Have a great week everyone,

Wow wonderful job everyone! :bravo:
Looks like I’m the first westerner to hit the scale. Weather man says rain today but that’s not going to sadden me.
This is my first week and I have to say I have been impressed with the program I have dropped 9 pounds. This may be a first week victory. Next week may not be as high and I’m prepared for that. But I’ll take the numbers.

Can’t wait till people notice too, that must be a good feeling … in fact that is how I have been inspired to start…… mama2benandrachel you are a living inspiration. We are all living inspirations of what we can do ….. today right now I can have 5 shakes a day and 1 meal and get healthy. This is the best thing I can do for my family and myself.

I did not lose this week - stayed the same - total is 25 lbs. and I'm happy with that! Did a 3-mile breast cancer walk this morning, though, which will hopefully help me drop a pound or two this week

Great job Medifasting, Everyone!

Postby lan » October 16th, 2005, 1:27 pm

It is inspirational to read about all of you!
We just keep putting one foot before the other--the time passes quickly--and in no time, we are amazed at how we are doing. I know it is certainly that way for me.

This week, I dropped 2.2 pounds, bringing by weight down to 205.8. I have 200 in my sights now. I can hardly wait to break that barrier and be in the 100's. It will take a few weeks to do that for me; and that is ok.

Best wishes for a good week of Medifasting to everyone!

Total of 4 pounds! And equally as important, I did not cheat or lie to myself or talk myself into just a little taste of something - I made it ALL week on Medifast! I am in control - not food!

Checking in late today!

Starting out at 215.8 this morning...

Readout courtesy of my high-falutin' Tanita scale that gives it to me down to the .10 increment, criminy! Not sure if knowing THAT MUCH detail is good or not. May help to see tiny losses on some days I suppose! ;)

Boy, I gotta say, I AM HUNGRY! ACK! Day 1... I had visions of sugarplums dancing in my head...

I'm toughing it out though! :weightlift: I know this gets easier with each day, thankfully! Must... not... look at Tuscany coffee table book full of gourmet feast photos! :hide: Big mistake this afternoon.

GREAT JOB to all you losers! I am excited to see what next Sunday brings for you and I both! (And I'll see if I can get a weekly check-in from my sis!) :D

Wow, everyone is doing great! Even NY Lisa with a zero has a great attitude. My zero weeks were whining & complaining. Shucks girl, you put me to shame! Lynne, I haven't paid attention in a while, but you and I have struggled through some slowdowns and plateaus around the same times, and I'm looking at you at 147. Unbelievable and so close to goal! Reading all the successes this week, I just want to put exclamation points all over the place!!!!!!!!! I was going to start listing everyone's stuff, and congratulating one and all, but I think I'll keep this short.

Having set a huge Christmas Cutie Goal (42 pounds, requiring an average drop of 3.5 lbs/week), I may have to make an adjustment after my 1 pound loss. I have been sick the entire week, and my usual 100 oz daily water intake dwindled to, maybe, one full glass the entire week . People, strep throat is no fun at all. I was lucky to get a tiny trickle past my seriously swollen tissues. Things began to improve yesterday, my fourth day on antibiotics, so I'll wait till next week to reassess that goal.

Best wishes to all my loser friends here. Keep up the good work!
