Congrats to all the losers, and hugs to the plateuers. I think I'm on a plateu, but that's ok with me. I love Medifast! It got me off my diabetes pills. I know I will lose the weight in time! :D I hope everyone is having a safe and healthy holiday.

Hugs to all!

I would first like to thank the great people of this site for having such a great forum to read and gather information. This place is great, I regret that I do not have much time to post but hopefully things will slow down and I can get on these boards more. It has been more or less a fact finding mission when I can read the forums.

I have had great success, at least for the first week, lol. I had planned on the Full Fast but I do take clients out and have work lunch meetings so I have been alternating with the 5/1 and Full Fast. I have still been able to eat some great meals, although much, much smaller than what I used to consume. I had a grilled Seafood Skewer and a light salad the other day and it was fantastic and I was very full. In the past, I would eat two skewers, all the dirty rice, a big appetizer and I would never leave without having Bananas Foster for dessert.

I was very suprised today when I got on the scale, and it is a new one, lol. I have been convinced that it is 10# heavier than my old one in the past, that is fine with me now.

For my first full week on Medifast, with no cheating, and using the 5/1 and Full Fast, I am pleased to report a loss of 15.7#.

It has almost been too easy and I do realize that this is atypical for this program.

I lost 4.5 pounds this week. Seems like the weight's just falling off this week, and my new shorts are getting baggy already. Congrats to everyone out there this morning.

Hey Everyone! It seems like most people are doing well this week! I managed to lose 1 wee pound this week. I did fall off the wagon last week..while company was in town..so I will take it..and say....I will not fall off again!

Jo...please tell me how you manage to lose all that weight and still find time to read Shakespere! You are truly one of the Great Muti-taskers!

WOW! What an amazing board this morning!

to all the losers, new club members, those who have maintained ~ and all those who are still hanging in there! ... keep on keepin' on! - your loss will arrive! :D

Well, I lost a whopping 1/2 lb this week (after staying the same last week). Seems like I am back to my "every three week" loss cycle ... but I'll take the 1/2 lb ... it has been a TERRIBLE week for me!! Simply terrible.

I started my new job on Monday the 22nd. Do you remember how excited I was!!??!! Well, I HATE IT! It is by far the worst job I have ever had as a nurse. I am SO looking for something else. I think the stress and disappointment of this position has taken a terrible toll on me. I have been so depressed all week long; My stomach has been in a great big knot and I have had a headache every single day after work! :nonono:

I have stayed on program (miraculously) but am really starting to believe that stress does inhibit weight loss (just pray it doesnt make me GAIN! ).

Now, today, my husband had to leave on a week business trip to upstate N.Y. and won't be back until Saturday (He is a Quality Control Consultant for the railroad) ... so I am also somewhat alone this week  AND have to face the new job again Tuesday! AAAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHH!!! :aarggh:

Have to keep telling myself, "I can do all things through Jesus who gives me strength"

Say a prayer for me
Have a great week!
Cathy

Way to go!!

Postby Ginabobina1969 » May 28th, 2006, 9:16 am

Congratulations to everyone for being accountable here in the roll call!
Way to go all of you entering new clubs, its a great feeling so enjoy it!:)
For those maintaining or dealing with slow losses you know thats normal and also that even maintaining is an accomplishment in the weightloss world.

Aunty Flo hit the road yesterday..and I did manage to lose 1 pound this week...I was expecting nothing cause I have felt like a walking flotation device  so I am real happy with one pound. That brings me to a total of 50 pounds gone since starting mf on Feb 16th And a total of 58 pounds gone forever!! wooohoo!

I think Hubby was having a sympathy loss week for me cause he lost 1 pound this week as well, Which Makes a 13 pound loss for him in a little over 2 weeks. He DIDN'T measure and he should have because I see "sinky/concave" places beginning on his belly..so I know he lost inches.

Onward and Downward!!!
Hugs,
Gina

Morning, all you losers! And congratulations!! Jo, that's AWESOME!

I'm almost embarrassed to post because I can't believe it myself and I'm worried I'll have to retract it if we find out our scale's broken. (My husband assures me he recalibrated it yesterday -- we recalibrate it every week just before we weigh for Roll Call)

But here's the news --- 6.2 lbs!!! for a total loss of 41.2!!! :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: (Sharon, please tell Tony last night's turnips were just fine!)

I really can't get over it. Of course, in the averages of things this may preceed a plateau or something. BUT on my self-designed Weight Watcher's weight loss scale based on previous experience, that's a little over 12 week's worth of "work," and a plateau can't POSSIBLY last that long on this program

And, yes, Unca sir, may I request the 40# club, please? Many thanks.

Congrats to All! Great job this week!

I am happy to say that I have lost the 4 pounds I gained during a recent trip. Glad to be back and on the Medifast wagon.

I haven't been around much except to read a few posts from time to time. Everyone is doing great and you all are such an inspiration to me! This forum is what keeps me going...God bless Nancy, Terry and Tim!

I managed to lose 2lbs this week despite having several days of only 4 supplements and the L&G. I've had a flare up of my fibromyalgia and have been sleeping late, going to bed early and taking naps. Kinda hard to stick to the 5 & 1 when I'm not up enough hours to fit in all the supplements. But I have stuck to Medifast...no cheating! I'm also pleased to say that I am now wearing a 14 misses jeans! :D

And where is our Medifast darling, FalisaMarie?? I had hoped to see her roll call post and the latest total pounds lost! I'm a big fan, Lisa!

Wow! Just realized....only 4 more pounds till I get in the 50lb club! :woohoo:
