Interesting subject gang. I want to add that when I've felt light headed it's because I need a little salt - drinking a cup of bouillion (sp?) gets rid of the light head. Maybe the natural salt that's in the meat is having the same effect?
I have the same problem with sugar - after I eat a candy bar I want to take a nap. I've never felt a sugar high. I was on LA Weight Loss program for a month or so last year. It didn't work for me because you eat 3 meals a day and then eat two of their "candy bars". All that diet did was set me up to want a sugar binge.
The full fasting MF plan is the best diet for me.

Lack of salt gives me headaches, so for that I drink bouillon but that does not help with the light-headed problem. Perhaps I'm naturally light-headed and the diet just amplifies that. (No comments from Marseilles or Mikey, please!)
