I know I'm a day late (and a dollar short), but here's my weight for the week (starting). Today is day one and my weight is 299.

Down 10.4 pounds in 4 weeks

Postby keh001 » February 7th, 2005, 7:24 am

Well I hit the 10 pound mark this week! My weight loss is slower than most, but I also don't have much to lose. I will take whatever I can though! Congrats to all the successful losers this week!! :-)

Hi keh! Congrats on hitting the 10-pound mark! Way to GO!!! I sympathize with you on your slow loss; I, too, have only a few pounds to go toward goal and they're comin' off agonizingly slowly. But I remind myself daily that if I were trying some other means of dieting in a lame attempt to lose weight faster while eating "real food," I'd be gaining by now and be much *more* frustrated!!! I know, especially cuz I can see others doing so well and making their goals, that we can stick with it and make it!!!

Let's help each other along and get there no matter how slowly it comes. :pet:

Good morning!

I "cheated" this morning and stepped on the scale again, something I haven't been letting myself do, but . . . well, you know.

Anyway, I'm pleased to report that the scale is finally beginning to move again, and that today's weight is down two pounds from yesterday's weight. There's motivation to stick with the plan this whole week and see what the week's change on Sunday will be.

I'm not changing my numbers in my sig line or anything, because Sunday is "official," and I don't want to start playing scale games like that. I'll probably try to stay off the silly thing all week, now that I know that it's moving.

Have a great week, all, and thanks for being there when I need you!

Raederle- thanks for the encouragement and support. We have very similar stats...

I was anorexic for two years, and got down to 90 pounds. When I started eating again I gained over 60 pounds in a matter of months....emotional problems, as well as a screwed up metabolism from being in starvation mode for so long. My all-time highest weight was 155 about 2 years ago. I have been able to lose weight slowly and surely (with Weight Watchers, and now Medifast), and am now at 128.6! Hoping to get back down to 115 in the next couple of months. I have had many slip ups along the way....the holiday season definitely threw me off track! Anyway, thanks again!

Dear MonkeyMom ~

Sheesh! Girl, you do not have much time for Monkeying around but isn't it super - you had an excellent first week of shaking and I'm sure that the simple program and convenience of the products will be perfect for your busy schedule.

We'll look forward to your pound reportage on weigh-in Sundays!

finally! With a 3.2 pound loss this week, I finally made it into the 50 pound club. I can remember when I envied those that had that number under their name, thinking I would NEVER make it. It really seems like no time at all has past.... I really hope the loss continues at this rate.

WAY TO GO KAREN!!!

Isn't it wild that you made it in just ONE DAY LESS THAN 3 months. That's over 16.5lbs a month.

Medifast rocks -- can I get an AMEN OVER HERE????

Nancy ~ Thanks a bunch. Yes, the ease of this plan is one of the main reasons I chose it. It just wouldn't happen any other way.

Karen ~ WOWEE.....partytime......put a splash of vanilla in your next shake and through some confetti on your head

24Karat ~ Well, it's a good thing you cheated this morning, now you are all fired up to stick with it this week. Glad to hear that scale finally figured out how to go the right directions. Must be a male scale, you know they have a terrible sense of direction!! :roflmao:

I lost 5 pounds this week for a total of 13 pounds in 2 weeks. Yippee!! :boing:

Unca Tim! Unca Tim! :yippee: I'm in the 10 lb club! :yippee:

Ya know, sometimes the food isn't the greatest, but ya just can't ague with RESULTS! It would've taken me at least 6 weeks to lose this much before MF. I LOVE THIS STUFF!!!!
