Thank you all so much. I am looking forward to starting towards the new me. I will deffinately stock up on frozed veggies and splenda.

If the tea has caffeine, does it still count toward my water intake? And how much water do i need to drink per day?

I read somewhere that you should drink half your body weight in oz per day. Is that true?

I read the same thing. They rec. 64 oz. I drink a gallon if I can a day.

I just fill 16-20 oz. bottles up few times. Then, I have my 32 oz one I drink 2 or 3 of them a day. I add in crystal light sometimes, but only when I have to drink my faucet water, which tastes like doody even with a filter.
Plus, I forget to fill my gallon bottles at the water N Ice place..25 cents a gallon.

I find that if I remember to keepwater on hand and cold, I drink way more of it.
Don't really care as long as everything's better than yesterday was...

Hi Allie,
Well your supplies of food should be well on their way. :D When that wonderful package arrives go ahead and dig through it. It's fun to see what's in there. :D Then get the Quick Start Booklet out and read and re-read the whole thing. It will get you started out right. The general rule is "if it's not in the book...it's not in your mouth." Next plan your first few days of meals. That way you'll have everthing all ready. Plus remember if you get a headache the "ususal suspects" are fine. You know tylenol, asparin, etc. It won't last long. If you feel a bit weak -- you'll be beating a path to the potty.. have a bouillon... regular is fine. That will replace some salts that you are losing. Remember the first three days are the hardest... make it thru them...and you're off on your journey to slimdom. Keep posting and let us know how you do... I'll be watching for you.
