Tonia I hope you are feeling better soon. Have you ever tried "No Time for Colds?" It's similar to the Coldeeze but works so much better. At the first signs of a cold you start taking them and they really really decrease the amount of time and severity of a cold. I didn't believe it when several people kept telling me to try them - so one day when I was coming down with a cold I broke down and bought them and I couldn't believe the difference.

I have had BK before....but just their salad with grilled chicken...that was only when I was traveling and that was all there was to pick from at an airport. I ordered two but would only take the chicken from the other one to add to my salad (needed to make sure there was enough protein) - and I took off the cheese, picked out the cabbage bits and carrot bits, and did not use the croutons. Worked for me.

Hope you have a great weekend!!

You're so right about those otc pills not working. I too, have been sick since Sunday April,1st with a sore throat, sinus pressure, coughing and sneezing that is still going on as of today. I did however go to the doctor that Wednesday and he would NOT give me any antibioticis because he said it would not work because i had a viral infection and not just an infection. I was so ANGRY cuz i was feeling sooooo TERRIBLE. He did however wrte me a perscription for 800mg Motrin totake 3 times a day, and of course it did not help, only made me constipated. That Friday i called back still complaining..he told me to get Mucinex which hasn't worked either....then i bought some Tylenol sinus/headache nighttime and took it in the daytime cuz i needed SLEEP. This is hanging on tooooo long and i'm afraid it will go into pnuemonia...so i'm thinking maybe i should go to the emergency room..don't know to do??

Anyway, your babies are "BEAUTIFUL" and CONGRATULATION'S.
You are doing "wonderful" on your Medifast journey:+) I haven't had much of an appetite but force my self to stay compliant through this misery...lol!

keep on shakin!

Nickie, thanks for the compliment! I don't connect my emotions with food, lucky for me. :) Actually it might be the opposite, because when I get emotionally upset I *can't* eat. I do listen to my body though and eat what it tells me to.

SuzyQ, that's a good idea, is there any sugar in them though? Gotta watch out for hidden carbs in things like that, I had my hubby get me some sugar-free Ricola cough drops but I'm still going to limit them to only a few just in case. ;) Your salad idea sounds great, but you know we are allowed cabbage, right, and cheese is fine too depending on our lean amount? Didn't have to pick that off hehe.
Hope you have a great weekend too!

Chynna, I'm so sorry to hear you are sick too. :( It'll go away soon I'm sure since you've had it a while now. Just make sure to drink lots of water (more than the 64) and your doc is right about the antibiotics, we shouldn't take them unless we have a bacterial infection. Of course, it's hard to tell if it's viral or bacterial unless the doc does a test. Did he? I hope you don't get pneumonia, I know my hubby had walking pneumonia and he couldn't breathe and got dizzy and needed an inhaler and antibiotic. Thanks for the compliments on the babies, of course I love them, but I'm biased LOL!

Well I'm a little upset today. I weighed this morning and am a half pound heavier. I have not gone off plan, but I did do a bunch of walking yesterday. This is discouraging to me because it means I can't exercise while on this plan. :(

I know it's water weight from using my muscles a lot yesterday and will go away but now I can't start my pilates till I run out of food. I say run out of food because I am not going to be able to afford more MF as our finances stand right now. I really feel bad about it because I am losing rather well and it seems to be so easy.

Oh well, I can always come back once I get the money situation settled again. Maybe we shouldn't have bought that large, flat panel 1080p HDTV for ourselves for Christmas, LOL!

Actually, no WAY, that was the best thing I ever bought! I LOVE HDTV omg you can see every little detail it's like being there! Ok, so maybe it was the Playstation 3 we bought for ME for Christmas.. LOL... $600 sure puts a dent in the wallet eh? ;)

Anyway, we'll get it settled and I'm sure I'll come back when I can afford it again.

So, 2.2 pounds this week isn't so bad with me being on my period and being sick. I'm pretty happy, especially about the one inch loss on my big ol' hips.

:

You are basing you decision not to exercise based on one day and half a pound? The half a pound could be caused by many different things. If you feel you walked too much, then reduce it and work up gradually to a higher amount. Walking as exercise has helped me on my plan so much and I hope you give it another chance. Also your body will get used to the walking and you won't retain water like you might in the beginning.

Actually I'm basing it on the same thing happening last year to me, and it happened the week I only lost .8 pounds.. I was running around like a maniac all day long every single day cleaning and running after the babies. I had to increase my calories to make up for the fact and then I lost again. I don't want to have to increase them some more because I'm afraid I might screw it up.

It's ok, I only have about 2 weeks left of food, then I'll do my pilates and just watch my carbs closely till I can get some more. I won't stop walking! That's fun to me. I just won't start the pilates.

Tonia - I did a lot of exercising this past week and I only lost .5 pounds. This is the first week in 11 weeks that I lost that little. I was taking 40 minutes walks at work and on Saturday I pushed my girlfriend around in a wheelchair for about 6-7 hours - well not straight. So this week I am still going to do some walking but cut back in hopes that I lose this week.

Losing again! Dropped that half a pound plus some. ;) Surprising cause I walked for another hour yesterday but maybe that means tomorrow I'll drop more! heehee!

Boy, I love the fact that we can have one ounce of nuts as a snack. I had an ounce of unsalted dry roasted almonds yesterday... mmm! Those are my favorite nut, hazelnuts are my 2nd favorite.

Good for you that that pesky little gain is gone again!! :D

I was sorry to read that you aren't going to be able to continue the program as I enjoy reading your input here. It sounds like you have a good plan thought out for continuing on your weight loss journey and that, along with taking care of your children, will get you to your goal!

Reached Goal 3/15/08 147#

Yeah what Biki said! I hope you are back on the plan before you know it. I can understand how the money adds up pretty quickly doesn't it?! $$$$$$$

I dunno that I would have traded the flat screen either...I love watching my nascar boys' nostrils on race day (hee hee)....

Sorry to hear that you were sick! I can only image how tough that is with all those babies!

Keep in touch and good luck!!!
